Apes and monkeys have fascinated me since I was about 3 years old, I think. I remember I had 2 stuffed monkeys and at one point, a gorilla. I became more interested upon finding out about gibbons and bonobos as well as other species while reading books on wild animals later in childhood. By that time, I practically had my own whole troop of stuffed toy gorillas at home, plus several more monkey toys. However, it wasn’t until fairly recently that I came across videos like this of gibbons climbing and playing that I heard the distinctive odd sounds made by different gibbon species- I think the funniest one has to be the siamangs, they sound a lot like a bunch of guys yelling in falsetto! Cute baby and nice footage here. Keep providing us with more amazing videos, folks!
Oh another precious video! How can anyone deny that we are related to these little ones?
poor little guy looks depressed...
