Hey- how easy is it to find other English speaking students? I'm from the UK and looking to pick my study abroad year... Is there much of a social scene for English speakers? My French is okay; I lived there for a few years and study it alongside my course but would rather socialise in my native language lol
There are plenty of clubs on campus and through the residences that give you the opportunity to meet other people who speak your language. I made some English friends at the "language cafes" they offered in my residence.

My parents went to Laval for school and my mom thinks I should apply. I want to do the nursing program so I am at cegep (even if I live in Ottawa) completing my science prerequisite. Was just wondering if uLaval is a school were you’re just a number or would they know you buy your name?
I say it for sure depends on what program you're in. I was fortunate enough to be in a program of about 20 people so all of my professors knew my name. I'd say if you introduced yourself in a bigger class the prof would remember you. Good luck!

Hi there! No, you do not. There are many classes offered in English and there are lots of international students. If you do want to learn French, there are classes and clubs to help. Hope this helps :)

Milky_way_girl_ I do know that they have a great medical program! So many students from around Canada come to Quebec City to become doctors. Their partner programs with hospitals are apparently great! I bet you there are plenty of Moroccan students, I don’t know any personally but there’s people from all over the world! Let me know if you have more questions ☺️
There are tons of Moroccan students! Laval has good medicine, but you can also check out McGill, Sherbrooke or Concordia.

Bonjour! Je crois qu'il existe un programme come cela à Laval! Les programmes en anglais sont plus rares, mais existent encore! Moi je dirai avec essai...un peu moins travail! Laisse-moi savoir si tu as d'autres questions :)

I dont think if you can answer, but does Laval accept minors ? Because my sister skip a grade, so she's 17, and she wants to go in UL
I was in Lacerte, the girls-only residence but I had some friends in the others if you have more questions! I believe they do accept minors but I am not 100% sure because things work differently in Quebec. I would still apply!

No they offer a variety of classes in different languages!

Primarily French to my knowledge but they do offer a variety of English classes.

Thanks for your comment! I don't know much about that program specifically but I suggest checking out their website! Canada would be a great place to do a Master's in my opinion though :)

French is the main language but there are other languages among international students and students from outside of Quebec
