We have a problem with dual agents. It’s legal in Iowa and smaller communities so it seems they all want to do a dual agency. How do we overcome this and know that our agent is working for us? I understand that they will make more and can bring the buyer but 🤷‍♀️

You will get more money if your Realtor opens up the listing to everyone to come in. First ask them to show you in detail their marketing plan to make sure they have a way to get your home out of all agents in the marketplace. Also ask them for a reduced commission if they sell the home themselves, they should not get double. You need to interview many agents on the phone first to understand their marketing and who they are as a person. I have a list of questions you can ask a Realtor and I can find a good realtor for you when you are ready😍
