I absolutely agree with your take on the Macro being a Glock 19 "killer". Turned 21 last year and naturally was going to get a G19 just as my dad had. However, the modularity, capacity, and size of the Macro, made a G19 purchase hard to justify. Sure it costs upwards of $250-$300 dollars more, but you are going to end up spending that much anyway if you choose to upgrade a G19. The only problem that I have seen with the macro was a "rust" issue. Maybe I got lucky, but I have zero rust on mine, so apart from that and the price of magazines, there aren't in my opinion that many cons against it. Also for people who say that Sigs "go off" that has only been brought up with p320s. And yes I'm aware of the one "shaky P365" video on youtube, out of the millions of P365s sold. It is literally the best-selling handgun in America. All in all absolutely amazing first handgun purchase, that gives me the ability to flex the weapon in multiple use cases. Not planning on buying more handguns for awhile, and honestly, the choice to buy more will be because I want to. The macro has taken care of all handgun needs in my life.
Exactly man. I'm glad you don't have any rust issues! I kind of beat around the bush and just picked up the grip module and got an FDEZ slide so nothing I'm running has any sig metal coatings on it haha
