I kinda feel like this kinda playing lends itself more to the genre you are associated with… not accusing you of hiding behind fx, everyone knows you can play… but the pnw scene loves to hide behind fx to mask their actual ability.
I'd say it for sure lends it self to indie, rock, and pnw. I think alot of people would only associate a pedal or sounds like this with more obscure music and might not feel like they have a use for such unique tones. Also, I'd challenge your last statement there... that "the pnw scene loves to hide behind FX"... I can see how people feel that way but I've also heard plenty of great players who don't cut it in that world. Just like any genre it's very specialized and is more nuanced than just hiding behind effects. I say that while not really considering myself a real PnW guitar player... I've spent far more time playing Americana and Singer Songwriter stuff through the years.
I'd love to see a video breaking down your recording process.
I had hope of doing this more but haven’t… the video didn’t seem to do well but - check this one out: ua-cam.com/video/xBjLOWGjo9Y/v-deo.html
Very good philosophy

Hey Mike, let's form a new wave band and we can employ these kinds of pedals.
Well first things first, what’s the band name?
@@MichaelWWestbrook Mike and the Particles, naturally!
Great you are back! Interesting topic too, keep‘em coming, cheers Ste
Thanks! I’ve been wanting to make this one for a while now
I like your music
Thanks! I really appreciate that

It's not a demo, though...He's showing people how to incorporate it into a non ambient/shoegaze rig.
