Awesome! It was watching Zatara and Catalpa that helped our family take the plunge and move onto the sailboat!

Thank you for the comment. I agree about Zatara and Catalpa! Just sub'd your channel and excited to watch. Are you planning to do a circumnavigation? I see you're from Canada, not sure if you ever read The Voyage of the Northern Magic: A Family Odyssey (www.amazon.ca/Voyage-Northern-Magic-Family-Odyssey/dp/0771082606). Another inspiring Sailing family story. Also there is of course Sailing Totem (www.sailingtotem.com/). Fair winds!

      They don't have a UA-cam channel.

*Catalpa* are nice but a bit boring. Too much go to barber, shopping, etc. Otherwise nice people.
*Mothership adrift* - one of the more professional channels in terms of sailing abilities. The parents are (semi-)professional seamen, kids are quiet but fun. Sailing an AMAZING two-mast Amel 64.
VERY worth mentioning (use search field):
*Sailing Mokara* - fun british family (imagine THAT!) with adventurous kids, sensible parents and good videos. Lots of adventures, good commentary. Slightly too focused on environment but all in moderation. Bonus: marine themed videos for kids. Vessel - Lagoon 400S2.
*Sailing Meraki* - a very nice Canadian/Australian (G'day, ey!) family with a MAGICALLY handy dad, slightly crazy mom and two adorable boys. Sail on a an ANCIENT 1977 Stan Huntington sloop.
*Sailing with six* - a TRULY NUTS Australian family with four kids aged from 7 to 13, all curly and cute. CRAZY about surfing, boards, snorkeling. VERY accident prone but otherwise very nice to watch. AND they are going West to East, so that's an additional perk.
*Sailing ELANE* - a Norwegian family with a slightly American mom and three boys aged 6 to 13. Serious and calm. There is certain confidence vibe emanating from that channel. They've already finished their journey but are only now posting the videos. Worth following.
Sailing Zatara is highly NOT recommended. Arrogant yanks who think "everyone wants to come to America". Too much self-importance for my taste.
PS If you have a sailing channel and want someone who comments ALL the time, drop me a reply here. If you're fun, I'll be a fan.
