She is still signed by SMent. Back in South Korea she does a lot of songs to Dorama's soundtrack. I think she sould be more promoted, she has a beautifull voice. SMent could totally upload this on their chanel's.
I think before SM will market her to the English speaking countries, they'll have to make her big in Korea and Japan first. I think the english lyrics is mostly due to the song being made by non Japanese composers (maybe the demo has the english lyrics). The foreign students is just something so random but I can see why they used them for this video.
I was wondering why SM came up with a singer so similar with yuri...now I understand they just want to break into Japan music market....she is really good at japanese...even though I am chinese, I did tell the awkward moment when most Korean sing in Japanese, but J-min and BoA just did a good job.

If you are not a japanese speaker, however, it would be surprising if you could really notice her accent
