Penny’s Big Breakaway and all the Mario stuff were my personal highlights. Other than that, this was a mostly mediocre direct.

...D-- Detective Pikachu was originally a game on the 3DS, before the movie happened. Detective Pikachu Returns is a sequel to that.
And Ryan Reynolds wasn't the original actor.

@@VideogameShay Well, apparently, you're not the only one who thought the movie came first. I watched another reaction, I forget who, and she thought the same. Was... was the original game just not that popular? Is it because it was a spin-off? Did the movie really come along, and put Detective Pikachu on the map? XD
@@Trogadorsaysay2 so i wil say i wasn't really into any spin off games for pokemon except for stadium and snap - i mostly stuck to main line games! i haven't done mystery dungeon, cafe...etc! So ya -_- im embarassed but I guess it made the reaction authentically incorrect hahah

Paper Mario, the "Final Fantasy 7" RPG of Nintendo Games after 27+ years (Nintendo x Square-Enix collab), finally coming back! Everyone has wanted Geno in Smash for years :) I'm so glad we're getting a full from-the-ground-up remake (not partial HD UI/texture/sprite remaster)
Pikmin 3 has been on Switch since 2020
I haven’t played a Pikmin game I didn’t know it looks so cute though!
It’s not the old sonic games the old ones are sonic origins that sonic game is completely new
