Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's game's campaign follows up the story of Black Ops and is set in the late 1980s and 2025. In the 1980s, the player switches control between Alex Mason and Frank Woods, two of the protagonists from Black Ops, while in 2025, the player assumes control of Mason's son, David (codenamed "Section"). Both time periods involve the characters pursuing Raul Menendez, a Nicaraguan cartel leader, who is responsible for kidnapping Woods in the 80s and later sparking a second Cold War in 2025. The campaign features nonlinear gameplay and has multiple endings.

Nah bo2 for me because of menendez. Like you understand why he does what he does and his drives. He don’t care whether he dies he just wants revenge which is the one reason for him to live which makes him a terrifying foe compared to the other cod villains. The others just wants to take over shit or has the same basic background. Menendez is the first villain i think that’s different from the rest.

Back in BO1 I had mixed feelings about Hudson. He seemed cool sometimes but others he seemed like an ass. When we found it he was the reason mason was captured I hated him so much and I was happy he died. Now looking back and seeing it again, he tried to redeem himself by saving David (which is why he betrayed woods and mason) and woods

the best ending requires you to kill harper and shoot masons leg. There’s a couple of steps you have to take to get this absolute best ending.
I got the good ending without doing none of those I also finished it on the hardest mode which is a pain

The innovation of BO2’s campaign. Making the player choose instead of having events be out of your control, which could shatter moments in a second depending on what the outcome is. So glad we’re getting this innovation back in BOCW
I wanted to see hollow reaction after Menendez leaves, and the chat between him and woods, but he skipped that, also I can't believe you kill harper, Damm, he would make Salazar pay.
if you do not kill Harper then Karma/Chloe is killed because Farid cannot save her from the bullet by jumping in the way (since Menendez kills him). This means that nobody can stop the virus from spreading and does not give you the best possible ending unfortunately
@@lilfriedchicken9920 I know I have done all the endings very times, but at least harper was still alive, and would make Salazar pay, and farid dyes aniways so I prefer to save harper.

@@majdb5417 Menendez knows that Faris was a traitor I can saw in is eyes, he wanted to teatch him a lesson and left him live with that, because he could still kill him after he kill harper, but farid is a unlucky man, or either menendez kills him, or defalco or Salazar.

@@TheRealEricMitchell maybe it's just me, but I never watched anyone play or played myself the story mode of cod bo2 prior to now (literally 3 weeks ago I bought it), but I've seen cutscenes like the one with shooting Mason, Hudon's death etc. you just can't escape

I would have been less annoying if he would have at least said something like “I heard this is a way that Mason will live”and not just acting clueless while shooting at his legs and wondering what’s happening. But yeah I get what you’re saying. It is an older game and most people have seen lots if not all gameplay of it by now. But the fact that he seamed to not know what was going on while continuing to shoot at his legs (while missing a few times and Hudson yelling “shoot him in the head!”) And then acting all surprised when Mason came walking into the room at the end. It’s just all fake. Like if you already played it, don’t fake a reaction for us. Idk that’s just me though

I don’t care if killing Harper leads to the best ending world wide, to me the best ending is a glitch where you can save both Harper and farid (which I did 😁). Save harper in your original Campaign, Then run the rewind to the beginning of Karma, Let Defalco escape w/ Karma and rescue her in the Strike Force Mission, Kill Harper, And then go to Odysseus, At the beginning of the mission david talks to harper as if he was alive, then at the betrayal scene.
