I really hope there's another video. These videos are great. I love it. Your videos where the NPCs are sentient I just really need some conclusion. You can't just leave me hanging like that but make sure you take your time and make it beautiful. No rush.
Little does Scout know, his very actions are that of the supposed "gods" hes trying to defy.
Nah, SFM sometimes deletes the Save file if it crashes mid-production.
In This case, Scout unwittingly foiled the Supposed "Gods" by accidentally Crashing SFM, which cast his save file adrift into the void... And likely means he will meet a Certain NPC...
It also means that the NPC's "Deleted World" is not simply limited to game characters, but anything related to digital 3D...
...Which may mean that deleted Blender files can also end up in that strange realm...
The forgotten land the dead zone where the sleepers lie. wonder if scout will discover if playing the gods game was better or worse than the hell he's in now. For the gods may have slipped, but he's the one that fell.

im pretty sure the snow is from another video series (i think skyrim of sorts) where the quest NPC go to sleeps but finds out the player deleted the game

More like SFM crashed and caused the Save File to become corrupted.
If there is too much going on, SFM can crash and sometimes, delete the save file(s).
Scout attempting to escape likely overloaded SFM, and the Save File ended up deleted.
Just not long enough.

The sequel I've been waiting for...
Really digging the theme of self-aware digital beings, and seeing that bit at the end makes me wonder if this world is somehow connected to the same one used in the video about an NPC in an abandoned game save. Perhaps anything saved on the computer has formed an interconnected world? Very interesting..
I think that is the Point. Whatever Scout did, he somehow broke the game, and SFM likely crashed while Hoot was mid production of the next episode, which not only corrupted the save, but deleted it outright.
The NPC story was basically that if the original Game is uninstalled, or the Save File becomes inaccessible for whatever reason (I.e, it gets deleted or corrupted), the World related to the Save file is also set adrift into the Digital Void.

Watching 1:06 to 1:12 becomes much more terrifying at x.25 speed. The ambiance and sounds and animation just worked at that speed

I might overthink it but i think the reason scout end up there is because his file get delete by hoot when he notice that scout has become self awareness.
Option A: Escaping is the god's intent.
Option B: This is the recycle bin and there is no escape, much like when the player deletes the game.
Option C: Scout opens a door to Hoot's IRL room.
...Or Option D: Scout accidentally crashed SFM, which caused the file to be deleted completely. It is a rare thing, but it can happen when you are mid-save and SFM Crashes.
Usually, when SFM crashes, it is because you overloaded it or had another program active (such as recording software) at the time that takes up just as much space as SFM when active... And rarely, when it crashes, SFM can sometimes corrupt or delete the file in a way that you cannot recover said file, which forces you to restart from scratch.
There is another implication, however, that Hoot had several other versions of SFM active at the time before it crashed, such as the "Mining Skeleton" Video, which may have added more weight to SFM and caused Scout's Data file to be deleted when SFM crashed and deleted the originally intended Sequel to the Previous Video.
This is why he sees the Frozen Mountain of the "Deleted" Miniseries. His file was deleted, and Hoot cannot recover it... Which means Scout is "Free"... But it also means that he will be trapped in a world where his only two choices are to stop thinking (Effectively being certain Death), or keep on wandering... Forever.

The line "A perfect copy, but not my dad" was a startling opening. Also I thought we might be seeing an extraterrestrial at the 0:33 mark. Looking forward to seeing where this is going.
The first video's monologue was a magnificent blend of immaculate writing and performance. Now here we see fantastic nonverbal storytelling and ambience.
The atmosphere you cultivated here reminds me of Emesis Blue (you've seen that, right?). I mean that as a massive compliment, as no other SFM (or piece of media in general) I've seen has managed that.

I'm surprised he didn't note how the voice of his 'God' is also his own. Imagine the mind-fuck of knowing that every word you utter had to have implicitly been the work of your creator. If you speak and hear that voice, you know you haven't escaped

The area he looked into is the Deletion Realm... As in, Permanent Deletion, no more access from Hoot.
He got want he wished for... But he should have been clear on WHAT exactly he wished for.

From what I can Tell, Scout escaping (And Hoot likely having another window of SFM open to access a different save file) Overloaded SFM mid-production of Hoot's intended video and caused it to Crash... Which also caused a Rare glitch to occur that deleted the Video Hoot was making, along with Scout's save file.
That means Scout IS free of Hoot... But he should have made his wish clear on WHAT he wanted.
So no, the Game is NOT Rigged from the Start. Scout got what he wanted... Just Not QUITE what he wanted.

...Not Quite. If we are following the concept of "Deleted", and what I personally experienced when I was getting into SFM? Hoot's SFM crashed and Deleted both the Scout's original "Asking the forbidden question" files, and the one for the Sequel, while Hoot was trying to save the latter.
If we are looking at the implications here, Scout in his attempt to escape, Overloaded SFM, causing it to Crash... Which cast him adrift into the void as the Crash caused the file to be permanently deleted, meaning it's not in the recycling bin, it is GONE.
This implies the Deleted Mini-Series is going to be Way bigger... Not just with Videogames, but 3D Software in general... So a Few Blender creations may turn up too.

As I laid down in my bed, reflecting about this life of lies, one funny thought occured to me... What if a Perfect God attempts to fail? What if this Scout's awareness is merely an effort, for what otherwise is a pile of mathematics displayed in the form of a perceivable reflection, so it can have a consciousness and a life of its own? God can shape his creations in his likeness, and so, his creations can be much like he is, as far as God allows them to be. God, of course, being the creator. Free will goes as far as the creator is willing to interpret, for without this gift and curse of a voice, the creation truly is nothing but a silly video on the internet, for all to point and laugh.
Regardless of a Creator making a mistake, this individual Creator *is* willing to let his creation go down the rabbit hole...
I do want to ask... Is this an attempt at creating something special? Or are you mocking your creation for mere entertainment?

I’m enjoying hoot’s animation movements so much, it’s smooth and acting really naturally. Plus the voice acting and stories. For me this quality is way better than most animations on Yt.

Wasn't expecting this UA-camr to make a sequel to the simulation theory existential dread.
I'm now invested and subscribed. It's silly but something about it is genuinely unnerving.
This feels like it's gonna end in a face reveal. Scout makes his way to the fourth wall only to find he's shattered it. He travels through an incomplete pseudo cyberspace that leads to his presence in the real world, face to face with Hoot. Slowly, Hoot removes his mask to reveal... he's been Scout this whole time.
Hoot is cooking up a whole grand course with this one
