The Matron consoling Laudna, telling her that she's not an anathema, got to me. She'd been so afraid, and hearing that from the goddess of death, that she has the capacity to right the wrong thrust upon her, must have been empowering for her. And the Matron herself? She felt much more human here, as she should. Telling Bells Hells that they have the right to choose for themselves which path to take... I hope this convinces them to be unified and make a concrete decision as to what to do. After all, "anything is possible".

I think it was MUCH more clear than the complete betrayal and I wanna die and I don't give a shits about my family but I do weirdness of the Arch Heart. I personally hope Bell Hells saves the gods, makes 'new' terms like Matron said and have them stay around because overall they are good for ALL on exandria, including the betrayers. They should let the betrayers out, but keep up the divine gate so the betrayers still can have influence over the realm but just as much as the primes. Matron gave up something VERY important. Prodathos IS FOR A FACT a result of the gods and was born among them. The gods should be charged with destroying or sealing away prodathos for good and somewhere that NO ONE knows. The current situation of Exandria will be awesome with the gods there, no prodathos and just 'good' and 'evil'. It is really interesting that the dodecahedrens are a source of power that is beyond the gods sights and it scares them just as much as prodathos does. That is a good thing. I hope they don't do anything stupid and let prodathos out or tell the gods to go away. Honestly I'm already looking forward to campaign 4. Not much else to say.
@@joeblow7735 I liked her talk with them I like it was basically confirmation that the darkness in the tengar is predathos I really hope they chose to not release predathos the betrayers are looking to well betray the other gods and not run with them and let predathos chase them instead and rule exandria
@@ZodiacBandit I agree completely. I really like the world Matt created. I very much so like how Matt is giving his players choices to change his world. I just feel the same in that I REALLY like the gods, the elementals and honestly the beacons which are the unknown power to the gods is just a great setup for campaign 4 and beyond. On a side note, I watched some of the daggerheart stuff they have and I really don't like it. Seems cool but I much rather see those folks play good ol' D&D.

I liked the episode, and I like it was the Matron of Ravens that was the other god. While the arch heart's request sounded like a threat, "let predathos out or there will be a new calamity," the matron's position was let mortals decide the future, and she has a unique position on this as a god that was a mortal she can see both sides.
To be fair, I didn't expect the Raven Queen to have this kind of outlook and I am not sure if I really agree with what Matt seems to be planning with Prime Deities (in a way I feel like it kinda goes against what we saw in Downfall and some other gods' portrayal)... And Matron's motivations to becoming divine were also a surprise. I expected way different twist (but I think the way I thought it, that divinity was an unintended consequence of Matron's ritual and in a way punishment for Matron, that would be too much like Brandon's take, not necessarily Matt's)... All in all though, I feel like Matt is setting the party (and by extension, us) up to a situation in which gods will be removed in some way from the setting. Especially when the party is already more on the side that is against gods.

DUDE, that would be cool. IMO Sam's character seems weak minded. EASILY transferred himself over to a betrayer because he was at a weak point in his life. Either way I have a feeling he will change his mind soon.
@@joeblow7735 I think in the end he’ll pull the trigger and release predathos for Asmodeus and regret it after I dooms one of his friends he’s torn right now and I think he’ll make the wrong choice first and will have to fix his mistake
I love how the fight the Raven Queen put on was against a Wizard, a Sorcerer, and a Warlock.
