No surprise that she picked Dustin. They reportedly didn't get along while filming Kramer vs. Kramer. It had to do with that scene in the restaurant when Mr. Method Actor stood up to leave and angrily pushes her wine glass off their table. It hit the wall and shattered into a million pieces. It was unscripted and scared the shit out of her. Also, it could have injured her which truly pissed her off.
+Mia7189 and she once said that while filming a scene he slapped her. For real. And it wasn´t on script.

I'm surprised she picked "Still of the Night" as her one bad movie from her career, I actually enjoyed that movie. Sure it's a tad dated but still a good suspense film that pays tribute to Hitchcock. Plus it's Streep with Roy Schneider, hard to go wrong with them.
I'm not. Just watched it and even though I think I liked it when it came out, seems a real stinker now. For one thing I figured it all (well, the killer etc..) out halfway through - and I NEVER have been good at that, even when people say "Oh, it was so obvious". This one had every cliche in the book. A very non-thrilling 'thriller,' although the cinematography was quite good

i just watched Still of the Night and its how i endedup here since the wiki entry mentions this interview. I've seen my share of Meryl Streep films, this is not her worst by a long shot. Hell i watched She-Devil just two days ago. that has to be worse for sure. Still of the night is ok if only a bit old fashioned for a film from 1982. It's shot like it's from the 60's.
