For example; he gave an example of Microsoft incompetently handling Korean translations. If easy things like translations are mishandled, then there more complex issues below the surface

All the acquisitions of game publishers were not intended to sell consoles, they were intended to grow their publishing portfolio that they will offer going forward. If MS cannot put Game Pass on others platform, they will put the games on there instead. They failed trying to create a large userbase to 'engage' with their games by selling consoles, so they will now just take the games to the gamers on the hardware they already own. That is the only future left for MS to go with Xbox.

I wouldn’t be surprised if MS pushes Xbox to go 3rd party to bypass regulators because there now 3rd party (so it wouldn’t be much worry) & buys Valve/Steam (which was a target acquisition) to essentially replace Xbox brand to Valve which has a better rep & stranglehold in gaming, more leaning into PC & less console where PS & Nintendo dominates & both who won’t & will never release there games day 1 on PC leaving MS if they owned Valve to be like Nintendo in being in there own bubble market where Valve single handily dominates PC market. Just a prediction but I think this route would be the best for MS if they want to have a foothold in gaming, (PC gaming)
