I’m really in love with Franquin’s art style but what I’m wondering about is the line art.. how he do it? What this type of line art called? What type of pen or brush they use to do the line art and coloring?
I can Research that and make a Video on it. Or you try to UA-cam it. I would say back in the days they made the Pencils... And than took a pen nib... Or a Brush and dipped that in ink (you can UA-cam traditional comic Artist supplys)... And than they inked it. That gives the figure that certain look and line weight. Check out my Videos on Inking. There is Playlist on that.
For the coloring I dont know how they did it. Needs reseach. But I think they might have used a similar Process I use. Cmyk Print color Palette and put that underneath the Inks... Or over them.
