Yup I'll have to agree. Still think it sucks he left Cannibal Corpse. The Bleeding was a work of art (and everything before it), anything after that would of been fucking amazing. I had the blessing of being in my teens in the 90's when all this shit was going down. I was disappointed in Six Feet Under at first, but I just wanted something I could never have. They grew on me pretty quickly.
I totally agree. But Chris knows how to get a crowd going these other bands don't know how to get the crowd involved like he does plus these guys are fuckin awesome I just found out about then not to long ago and I was thinking how did I not know of them or hear them
Saw them on their Warpath Tour. No fucking phones. One Security Guy,stage diving with the rest of us. The fucking ground felt like moving. One of the best evenings I had. Allen West on Guitar and Chris growling like a freaking animal.
@Dr Perun Thanks So Much Dear Dr Perun:-) I LOOOOVE Chris Barnes. .He Is a True Beast, Amazing The Metal Master \m/ No One Can Sounds Like Him. .His Demon Brutal Damn Voice Is Incredible!!!!!!!!!! Chris Barnes & SFU FOREVER YEHHHHH Wish For Dear You Dr Perun a Great Best Time and an Amazing Nice Metal Weekend \m/♥\m/ METAL FOREVER
I saw these guys in a small club called Saratoga Winters back in 2002. They were opening for Hatebreed. I had nothing better to do & a couple friends asked me if I wanted to go. I had heard alot about Hatebreed so I figured Id see what all the hype was. I wasnt even thinking about S.F.U. when I bought the ticket. I had zero expectations for either band, but was going to see Hatebreed. Wouldnt you know it Six Feet Under was incredible live. FUCKING INCREDIBLE!!! I have seen everyone from The Grateful Dead, A Tribe Called Quest, George Clinton & P-Funk, to Biohazard & THESE guys ARE the best live act I have ever seen. I am blown away by it. I never saw it coming. They were so tight, the sound was great they worked the crowd like a $5 dollar crackwhore. It was OFF the FUCKING HOOK. It was unrelenting mass aggression, centered & released flawlessly. They encored with Victim Of The Paranoid, & I lost my sh!t. WWWWOW! I didnt even stay for Hatebreed. I went out in the car & took a nap. NO ONE was gonna follow the act I saw from these guys. I am still shocked at how GOOD they were. They caught me like a closed fist catches the sweet spot of a jaw bone.
Man of all the death metal singers I've come across i think Chris Barnes has the single best voice for this. Low and dominating yet perfectly understandable.
in like their style death n' roll it's heavy (relative) slow with nice bass lines and kick all asses of the new shit and of course the best growl vocalist (for me)
Chris will always be the one and Only CC singer. Long live Sis Feet under, this 1996 Album, the haunted has The great Obituary guitarist. Thanks for this live perfection.
Haunted album kept me through my first deployment in the sandbox. This song in particular was always played, every mission day, for the entire fifteen months in theater, and before tucking ol’ glory under my IBA. That was 10 years ago. Still rocking the song today, still have ol’ glory on the wall as well, sand, blood, and sweat stained. Life earned. 🏴☠️
Is it just me, or is this a lot better quality than most videos of live performances? From my experience, people don't usually sound nearly as high quality when recorded live.
2:21 - that rocks so hard, fuck, can listen that forever! "I will... DIE!" Best growl I've ever heard. Love SFU and Dying Fetus for the best vocals I've ever heard.
i learnd this song at once on my guitar. that's a reason why i love this song. I think six feet under owns completely. just got their newest album commandment and it owns! very slow songs. but heavy indeed.
The first time I heard a SFU song live I gained 50 pounds, punched myself in the face, killed 5 cats, cut off 3 fingers, burned my house and skinned myself while headbanging due to the sheer adrenaline rush and emotion. Never felt so alive
It's nice having great vocals with effects... I have always respected their live performances late 80s is the best. I've witnessed ... Tampa Bay was where it was at.
My life, my soul My thoughts are my own I live to die What's why I was born Kill or be killed The law of the land Standing tall, I'm not running scared Human target Scarred, beaten My bones were broken Bruised, mistreaten For what I believe in Survive or die Fear for your life I grip the gun tight Three shots to the chest One to the head Standing tall, I'm not running scared Living through the violence I'm just surviving - there's no way to end this One more dead, one survives Instinct to live Living though the violence I'm just surviving - there's no way to end this One more dead, one survives Instinct to live I won't - die My life, my soul My thoughts are my own I live to die What's why I was born Kill or be killed The law of the land Standing tall, I'm not running scared Survive or die Fear for your life I grip the gun tight Human target
Saw Six F U twice here in Seattle at 400 capacity clubs in the early 2000s, brutal nights never regretted, check out Dead Crown, my sister's friends son's band from Portland
OMG!! I really love that Video! Feel the energy and Power of this awesome Song! The whole Contents are mixed perfectly to an amazing, brutal Neckbreaking Song!! See how he lives his Song, see his wild Look in his eyes.. Man he is an GOD!!! Obey him :D
Butchered was the best CC album but The Pick-Axe Murders is my favourite song. Barnes vocals were epic in Torture Killer. I like a few SFU tracks. CC should have renamed after Chris.
intensity, legendary barnes...im 28 yo....fan of this beast since TOMB OFMUTILATED...imagine Barnes with a armor and and sword with is dreads...the perfect killer Barnes is a legend like it or not
woaaa ..... i got the 1000. comment ^^ now seriously: you have to love this. chris barnes makes a show just with his voice and his deadly screams - amazing!!! fuck yea. SFU rules!
six feet under has to be the best death metal band around right now. They fucking rock!! They sound better live than on the albums that is a mark of a great band. Chris Barnes rules!!!

I have big commercial, JBL cinema speakers. From a theater. “Revenge of the Zombie” driven by the Crown amps, makes the Hair on the back of my neck stand straight up.
Best version of this song hands down
Agreed
Yup I'll have to agree. Still think it sucks he left Cannibal Corpse. The Bleeding was a work of art (and everything before it), anything after that would of been fucking amazing.
I had the blessing of being in my teens in the 90's when all this shit was going down. I was disappointed in Six Feet Under at first, but I just wanted something I could never have.
They grew on me pretty quickly.
Allen West, it upset me when he left Obituary, but then he and Chris hooked up and, well... magic happened
Steve Swanson is the Guitar player here...
Dude, I cannot listen to the album version anymore. This is perfect.
Now, this is how an audience should get into a metal show.
I totally agree. But Chris knows how to get a crowd going these other bands don't know how to get the crowd involved like he does plus these guys are fuckin awesome I just found out about then not to long ago and I was thinking how did I not know of them or hear them
Mistake...You never seen the best público ever...in argentina is the best so far away.. like a earthquake

Love the moshing/headbanging at 0.08 by the baldy guy! Very metal sir!
That part gets me hyped up. He looks like he's having the time of his life
He's vocalist of meshuggah
This cured my constipation.
Did you headband till you shit? I’m confused haha
This caused my constipation.
Man of all the death metal singers I've come across i think Chris Barnes has the single best voice for this. Low and dominating yet perfectly understandable.
they sound so powerful live!
hands down, but right here the WFF festival's recording dude did a very very good job too
One of the most killer guitar tones, man..
love his grin at 0.29
this shows you when bands still have fun with there music and their fans
Human target is one of my favs great song love this live version!
He'll fuck yea that song fucking slams I get chills when I hear it
in like their style death n' roll
it's heavy (relative) slow with nice bass lines and kick all asses of the new shit
and of course the best growl vocalist (for me)
Oh man, his high pitched screams give me goosebumps
I always play this riff when I go to Guitar Center. I get the look like I am the Devil. I usually play it thru a 100 watt mesa boogie
Sure you do
@Tyler Vincent I wasn't talking about the difficulty of the song.
@Tyler Vincent i think he meant that he gets the eye like he's the devil doesn't sound true
My new favourite driving to work song! \m/
Same too
no audience phones and camera \m/
enjoying the moment
No hipster wannabes,Real metalheads!,,!
That's what i called The Real Metalheads.
No Publicity needed to upload in some Personal Social Media Accounts.
This was filmed in 2001

The best riff i've ever heard and the part I won't - DIE is amazing. Masterpiece.
Chris will always be the one and Only CC singer.
Long live Sis Feet under, this 1996 Album, the haunted has The great Obituary guitarist. Thanks for this live perfection.
i agree...the bleeding is probably one of the best death metal albums ever
Haunted album kept me through my first deployment in the sandbox. This song in particular was always played, every mission day, for the entire fifteen months in theater, and before tucking ol’ glory under my IBA. That was 10 years ago. Still rocking the song today, still have ol’ glory on the wall as well, sand, blood, and sweat stained. Life earned. 🏴☠️
they sound very badass live these days, they have top notch sound engineers, the kick drum cuts in the whole mix with such great low end
I listen to this song every night at work and I'm telling you it helps me get motivated and get my ass in gear and get shit done
Лучший Альбом Six Feet Under и угарная песня!!Жаль что это время ушло.
one of the best death metal bands, they have groove, unlike most death metal.
That snare sounds awesome
that last scream is incredible! on the record it's like a scream and growl which is awesome.

Corpsegrinder is OK but chris barnes kicks ass hands down. One of the best in metal ☠🤘🔥
cc's became retarded as cris departed
Is it just me, or is this a lot better quality than most videos of live performances? From my experience, people don't usually sound nearly as high quality when recorded live.
its what they call a desk mix, which sounds a bit flat but is clear
esto es musica
2:21 - that rocks so hard, fuck, can listen that forever!
"I will... DIE!"
Best growl I've ever heard. Love SFU and Dying Fetus for the best vocals I've ever heard.

after all these years hes voice is still in tact amazing lol
@Tyler Vincent it might be but hes wayyy older now mane weed is not the main cause
He sounds awful now but vintage Barnes was great stuff.
His last album was a travesty, but no American Death Metal vocalist comes near 90’s Barnes in my opinion.
Butchered was the best CC album but The Pick-Axe Murders is my favourite song. Barnes vocals were epic in Torture Killer. I like a few SFU tracks.
CC should have renamed after Chris.
