AHHH two of my favorite video types, unboxings and sempervivums. 😂 Loved seeing your collection and updates on the previous video projects. Thank you for the great video!
@@PumpkinBeckiHello 🤗. I really hope you can help me please. I bought some (cut price) Sempervivums in October, mainly chicks growing over the old Mum; (eew!😂). carefully separated/ repotted them, don't over-water, but the roots aren't growing. Eek, please help. Thxx, Niki x
These are gorgeous sempervivum. I wonder how much are they, if you don’t mind. Here in US I only order 2inch pot and they come only 1 tiny pups and expensive. They must be expensive. Thank you
These named varieties averaged at £5 each (approx $6.30), but at big box stores with garden plants we can get 6 similar size plants in a tray for around £12 (approx $15), they'll be unnamed varieties, but that doesn't always matter 😊 Mountain Crest are supposed to be a very good US nursery aren't they? xx
I love watching your videos. I’m new to succulents and was overwhelmed this winter cause I bought all kinds of succulents and half of them didn’t make it through the winter months and so I’ve decided to concentrate on sempervivum. They are beautiful anyway. Thanks.
Yes indeed, Sempervivum have a multitude of "pet" names, including; Ice Plants, Hens and Chicks, Houseleeks, Jupiter's Eye, Roof Foil and Thunderplant 😊
OMG you have so many beautiful sempervivum Thank you so much for sharing! You are so lucky living in the UK I see so many beautiful sempervivum in videos from people that live there and some of those varieties are impossible to get here in the United States. When I've been looking for it seems like forever is sempervivum Devil's torch it is so gorgeous and impossible to get here in the United States.
Audio little staticky, besides that i totally loved the video. Glad i found your videos. Hens and chicks my favorite. And ground cover sedums don't get much videos on those so much though. I came across your videos looks for hens and chicks garden videos. Iv been planting bunch of sedums in area next to my sidewalk , about 2' by 9' tyen i started looking into hen's and chicks. The ones i like the most are tge ones that clump when chicking out. Also the rolly ones
Hi Eliza, on some plants I did, especially where the chicks were forming really tight to the hen. I would have needed to plant the clump really high or risk the chicks rotting. I hope that helps 😊 Becki xx

@@PumpkinBecki thanks. One little tiny pup here costs me around $5 -6 from Mountain Crest Garden - they carry the most sempervivum.

@ElizaGagarin They really are gorgeous Eliza, and so tough. My biggest problem is the blackbirds digging them up as they look for grubs and worms 😆
Awesome! Are they in the same family as Hen and Chickens or houseleeks? The Hayling one is a serious must have.

Yes, sometimes my mic mucks about, but I don't know until I've filmed the whole thing 😟 Hope you stick with me though and glad you love Semps too xx
Did you separate the hens and chicks before potting?

Yes, thank you. I’m concentrating on caring for sempervivum because of where I live, in MD, USA.
