We used to work together as graphic designers in the late 80s and he was a talented designer. We a real uptown yout and i am blessed to see him. Really never knew of his loss of sight, Jah Jah!!! Life is unpredicatable.

This is why me wouldn't live back in Jamaica cause the healthcare system is pure shit, retina detachment can be fixed meny people including myself did the surgery an we are not blind Jamaica just don't have a proper eye institute to help the people.

We should take a lot of life learning lessons from this interview. That's why I walk on the straight and narrow road of life to respect and appreciate everyone. One day, we might need someone to care for us , no matter the age we think we are. Most of us just live life in the fast lane without stopping, thinking , being grateful, and having appreciation for the tangible things. I say this to say that I lost my brother he was just 22. Little did I know that I would lose my daughter mom at the age of 30, just a few years apart. Now, come 2021, I lost my best friend 1 week before his 39th birthday . That's 3 young souls that never live to see 40 years old.
Bounty and Beenie gave us hope during the pandemic with that Live Verzes , unforgettable moment in dancehall.

Based on what I'm seeing retinal detachment surgery has a 90% to 98% success rate when done in a timely fashion. He probably ignored the signs and symptoms and by the time he caught on it was too late. So sad.

We come in different shades, shapes, ethnicities different social status etc. We can make you laugh and cry, be hopeful and optimistic, proud and nostalgic. Damn Bobby Chin my wife has the exact same disease and there’s a surgery. She did mind you. It’s a 50-50 risk and she took it basically she was pretty much blind anyways, and now she has 20/20 vision. I’m not sure if it’s available in Jamaica, but it is here in the US if you could get i’d say take the risk.
