“I like to keep it simple...but how do you keep it simple when you got ALL THIS...ON YOUR FACE?” I felt that! 😂 thanks for being so real! UA-cam needs more people like you!
Reena Valecha First the most important thing to avoid acne scaring isssssss hydrogen peroxide. When you pop a pimple it’s like scraping ur knee in order to avoid scaring you just put that on it. To avoid pimples from coming drink some water, don’t drink soda and get you a deep cleaning wash scrub. And to get rid of scaring I use the ordinary lactic acid 5% it’s like a really light peel and I put it on at night. It doesn’t burn or nothing. I sleep in it then just wash it off in the morning. And you have to have sunblock on during the day. And the reward yourself get a aloe plant or a face mask for ur face. It’s been 2 weeks and I already see results and it has help my under eye circles fade. Just don’t get that in your eyes.
This is my first time seeing someone with hyperpigmentation that DIDN'T use a crazy red colour corrector to conceal the spots -- I appreciate you so much
@@JesusLovesYou40.3 I have a light skin tone so whenever I use red/orange/peach color corrector it literally makes my concealer look so orange like it doesn’t look good

Same. I'm even lazier than her though. I put the Nars concealer (love!) on dark blemishes, gloss or lipstick, and eyeliner depending on where I'm going. My version of fancy is using Black Radiance powder as contour and doing a MINIMAL touchup to my eye brows. If I bring out the highlighter, it's a REALLY special occasion. I may have to try that tinted moisturizer though.

After going through 100s of videos of makeup on UA-cam looking for minimal makeup tutorial for beginners, I finally found one. Thank you. You beautiful.
Your application and your attitude are sublime! I think everyone has some marks / hyperpigmentation, but too many women are concerned with creating a "perfect complexion", or worse looking "snatched" that they literally are plying on layer after layer creating a face through light and shadow they they do not, have not, nor will they, ever naturally have. I mean, you cannot sit for 2, 3, or 4 hours or more "sculpting" a face that washes off and feel good about the washed real image starring back at you. I LOVE that you emphasize that flawless is not your goal. Now, I know it's easier to sit back and judge someone if you're not walking a mile in their shoes, but even if you have the worst skin of all time, try to remember that even if you didn't have severe issues, your skin would still not be flawless or perfect at all. Maybe this mindset comes with age, but if one person can appreciate themselves a little more from knowing that perfect isn't real, variation is (so lift that burden off your shoulders), then that's fine with me! Don't derived your value from others. And even with "imperfections" you can still be beautiful if you focus on your God-given beauty and stop trying to look like someone else! Ciao Lovelies 😍!
Great video! The lighting/set up reminds me of the COLORS show. It's cool to see a black person talking about minimalism and acne. Also, I hope you left a fierce review for that esthetician!
SPF in make up is far more diluted, so you usually need more of it. However, tinted ones can be a great second layer because of the Iron Oxide, which helps protect against blue light (e.g. from electronics), which can affect hyperpigmentation. Got all this from Dr Dray, great resource for ingredients, reviews plus she's a dermatologist. You mind dropping the contact of that esthetician because, I just wanna talk. Eta: Lol it's apple, but plum is a pretty good substitute. The look turned out great!
So proud of you. Many people are walking around feeling insecure when there’s nothing wrong with them. You don’t hide in the closet but come out boldly to show the world how it gets done. I hope you find a remedy to clear your acne. God bless.

Thank you so much for this! I do not wear makeup because it can be very frustrating. Just finding the right shade gives me a headache and I give up! Your steps were easy to follow. I would really like to thank you for such positivity,I have been suffering from acne since last six months which has affected my confidence level....you exude such confidence its inspiring!!
Wait I wasn’t expecting much from the tinted moisturizer before you applied but then after you blended it all out I was shocked that it actually covered up so much!

You are BEAUTIFUL girlie!!!!! Thank you so much for this. I to suffer from the blemishes and breakouts and don't really like my face to be having a lot of makeup on. Tfs💖💖💖
You have that overall glow that radiates from within!!! You are soooo gorgeous, not just physically but from your humour and how you embrace your imperfections! I was searching for "how to cover dark spots without foundation" and glad I found your video. I hardly wear any foundation myself and tend to go very minimal (the French way). I believe in embracing one's natural beauty and enhancing the feature or features that you love the most (ie. eyes, cheekbones, lips, etc.). You are just lovely and real and very relatable :)
Thank you for this. You are very real and your demo is really helpful. I struggle with hyperpigmentation after decades of adult acne. Retinoids (RX Strength) and Azelaic Acid are helping alot. It's just a process and takes time. I truly appreciate the way you layer your products. You look great.
This is the minimal-but-polished makeup tutorial (that can actually cover acne & dark marks🙌🏻) I've been looking for! Thank you so much - I can't wait to try it🥳
This was inspirational honestly. I personally struggle with all of this as well, and I, too, hate wearing a ton of make-up. I fully expected you to use a color corrector and the whole lot, but you didn't and it was thrilling. So many people are always trying to completely hide all of their skin issues and cake it on; Which, is fine if that's what they like, I just personally don't. Keep being you because you're radiant Queen!
I love this ! This is what I have been looking for . I have redness to my face that I want to hide but I hate the heavy make up look . I’m going to try this . Thank you !
You are soooo gorgeous without makeup! That moisturizer seems AMAZING! After you applied it, I couldn’t really see any scars...Thank you so much for sharing and I love your personality...xoxo
This is going to sound weird, but i mixed my winter foundation with my spf moisturizer and it did the trick!! It still felt lighter than regular foundation on my skin.
The PERFECT video for me thank you!!!! Sis ain’t got time for a full face I work full time, got two kids in two different sports, getting my masters degree so I can definitely get this done in 5-7 min!
Wow, okay. So I’m totally natural, like no make up, do not like make up at all. However, for any event/ if I did want to occasionally; THIS is the one. I’m very minimal, you had me just the tinted moisturizer honestly; but you did that and it looked so amazing and natural. I really appreciated how you were so relatable and honest. Thank you! 🙂
This just popped up in my recommendations. I mix my primer, Strobe cream, my bb cream and cc cream. It gives me a super light luminous but even coverage. I would say a brush gives fuller coverage than a sponge. So if I have a blemish to cover (one lonely random spot I get/dry ashy skin here) i apply my base and then apply concealer with a tiny brush or my finger and then blend out the edges of the concealer. Blending out the edges of spot concealer is harder with a sponge. Most concealers need to be set with powder also. A few are self setting. My five minute "no makeup" makeup is 5 products: Bronzer, mascara, brow gel, lip product, eye(liner or shadow) product. If I needed concealer I would skip the eye liner/shadow. Each product should only take a minute or less to apply so that's the five minutes. Your video is refreshing after beauty gurus apply like 30 products in one look. 😂😂😂
Thank you young lady. I finally found a video I can understand how to do my make up the way I want and products I can buy from mall or HEB etc. Beautiful job from a beautiful person.
I have a bronzer but its not dark enough and didnt know how I can use it....when you applied that bronzer as a highlight to your cheeks , nose and eye lids as an eyeshadow you gave me an idea!!! 💡Thanks for posting especially for those who have hyperpigmentation 🤎🤎
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!! I used suffer w adult acne for ever..... now, I virtually have non!!!! Thanks to 2 basic things, 1- internal cleansing (detox, colonic) and juicing (specifically for healthy skin). Many blessings to you love 💕
Yes yes yes!! Laura mercier tinted moisturizer oil free (wow that’s a mouthful) is SO GOOD! I also struggle with acne and that does not break me out either 😬😬
So needed this tutorial I have hyperpigmentation and I have a 6 week old and don’t have time for my normal makeup routine!! So this is perfect for the holidays!
After you get the new concealars that match your skin tone dab it on the dark marks and let it sit until it gets tacky and dries down a bit then lightly lightly blend it out and girl I’m telling you it won’t move. I usually dab my concealer, do my brows, liner and lashes then go back to check if it’s dry enough.
To be honest, I need this 'No makeup makeup' in my routine because I am someone who doesn't like makeup i.e to say applying layers upon layers of foundation on my face. I have not been a fan to it. So thanks so much for sharing 🙏
Yes, I've been wanting to see if the glossier blush and in particular the haze color worked well on medium dark skin. Looks great and it works well for you. Thanks.
I've been looking for a tutorial like this forever and a day. Only to realize we've been doing the same thing a different way🤷🏾♀️. Love this makeup look❤️😍
Excellent presentation Naake. The products are reasonable and not an endless list, making this application doable. The end result is natural but very pretty. Thank you 🌼 🌼 🌼
I'm impressed 1 because it's simple and true to the Title of the video 2 because I actually have been doing this for awhile I haven't wore makeup in a couple of years so I may go back to this with some of your recommendations Thankyou
This video / channel is everything!!! The brown background, beautiful woman of color, "minimalistic" / no makeup look!!! I'm a minimalist too (and a man), so less is more!!

Yess! A minimalist routine for us who struggle with acne scars... I lovee 🥰 Although I think for my preference I would skip blending the 2nd layer of tinted bb cream with the beauty blender, for better coverage! But I feel you though cause sometime I don’t want it to feel too heavy either! Great Job !

Wait I wasn’t expecting much from the tinted moisturizer before you applied but then after you blended it all out I was shocked that it actually covered up so much!
I’m also shocked how well everything blended out with even just your fingers
See how she was looking at each product, that's exactly what I do....in the mirror...putting on my makeup....without a camera....alone🤦♀️ Love Simplicity!! ❤
New subbie after 4 minutes of watching you. First time seeing you and it’s refreshing to see someone well spoken, so real and relatable! Your beautiful spirit definitely speaks to me👍🏾🤗
You are BEAUTIFUL girlie!!!!! Thank you so much for this. I to suffer from the blemishes and breakouts and don't really like my face to be having a lot of makeup on. Tfs💖💖💖
Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much - I can't wait to try it🥳
I have the same acne struggle and I’m DEFINITELY going to go and get the tinted moisturizer I’ve never tried it. Great video!
What is the name of the moisturizer?
Can you help me with the names of all the products you used.
Lady...Bravo! Bravo! Love this routine amazing! Short & to the point.
This is a perfect "no makeup" makeup look that I can follow. Just lovely 😍👌🏾
This is going to sound weird, but i mixed my winter foundation with my spf moisturizer and it did the trick!! It still felt lighter than regular foundation on my skin.
Gonna try it
Awesome
It's the natural glow for me. Definitely trying. I also suffer from scaring/occasional acne breakout and don't always want to do a fully beat.
The PERFECT video for me thank you!!!! Sis ain’t got time for a full face I work full time, got two kids in two different sports, getting my masters degree so I can definitely get this done in 5-7 min!
Gurl! You just saved my life! Need that Tinted moisturizer!
Just started using tinted moisturizer. I'm shook that the coverage is that good! Just might have to try this brand.
Thank you for this❤️
Been looking for a detailed video like this
Thank you! 🙂
For someone not into makeup fully, this is bombbbbb, love a natural face
ur personality is everything
I’ve been struggling with hyperpigmentation and this is totally life saving..Thanks girlie❤️ new subie
Love it. I like light make-up and always have trouble covering dark spots and my dark circles.
Love and respect for being your beautiful self and encouraging others to do the same.
Currently dealing with hyperpigmentation since this mask situation and dont like to cover with alot of makeup thank you for this
Yes yes yes!! Laura mercier tinted moisturizer oil free (wow that’s a mouthful) is SO GOOD! I also struggle with acne and that does not break me out either 😬😬
YES! College been stress me the hell out and my hormones and acne have been totally thrown off. This is super helpful
That tinted moisturizer looks amazing
So needed this tutorial I have hyperpigmentation and I have a 6 week old and don’t have time for my normal makeup routine!! So this is perfect for the holidays!
After you get the new concealars that match your skin tone dab it on the dark marks and let it sit until it gets tacky and dries down a bit then lightly lightly blend it out and girl I’m telling you it won’t move. I usually dab my concealer, do my brows, liner and lashes then go back to check if it’s dry enough.
You are beautiful. Your whole attitude is very pleasing to watch as well, you have a sense of humor.
To be honest, I need this 'No makeup makeup' in my routine because I am someone who doesn't like makeup i.e to say applying layers upon layers of foundation on my face. I have not been a fan to it. So thanks so much for sharing 🙏
This look is so lovely! You’re gorgeous before and after!
Your honesty is to be applauded. You are beautiful with and without makeup!
Wow, this is exactly what I'm looking for. So simple and you look beautiful!
Love this makeup look❤️😍
the background and your skin .....aesthetically pleasing
I LUV THE BROWN BACKGROUND SO ORIGINAL AND SIMPE 💖
Excellent presentation Naake. The products are reasonable and not an endless list, making this application doable. The end result is natural but very pretty. Thank you 🌼 🌼 🌼
I'm impressed 1 because it's simple and true to the Title of the video 2 because I actually have been doing this for awhile I haven't wore makeup in a couple of years so I may go back to this with some of your recommendations Thankyou
This video / channel is everything!!! The brown background, beautiful woman of color, "minimalistic" / no makeup look!!! I'm a minimalist too (and a man), so less is more!!
beautiful eyes, I am a minimalist too, after moisturizing and spf, i spot on concealer on my dark spot, powder all over and go
Wow whole set up is just beautiful ! I’d love to know tech wise how you set this kind of lighting with your skin tone. This is so good ! 😭💙
Yes me too!! Deets please ☺️☺️
Is that a “filming setup” video request I hear?! 👀👂🏾
Naakie Nartey yep!
Naakie Nartey Absolutely yes!! 🙏🏽😁😁
Yes please to a “filming setup” video! Love the minimal routine, it looks so effortless!
You look absolutely gorgeous!!! I have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and it is refreshing to find a makeup tutorial that shows your a more natural way to cover it.
I never thought of using a tinted moisturizer! I too hate foundation n that whole heavy feel of makeup. I didn't think I had options! Def gonna look into tinted moisturizer! And yessss to not looking perfect! Thank you 😊
Yess! A minimalist routine for us who struggle with acne scars... I lovee 🥰
Although I think for my preference I would skip blending the 2nd layer of tinted bb cream with the beauty blender, for better coverage! But I feel you though cause sometime I don’t want it to feel too heavy either! Great Job !
Wow, in the intro I didn't realize you were wearing makeup. Flawless! You made the process look so easy, too!
