MMA Cage Takedowns And Ground Control

When fighting in a cage, as opposed to a ring, there is a whole new game to explore offensively - the cage clinch. Of course, if an MMA fight happens to be in a boxing ring, the fighters can clinch on the ropes, but chances are at least one of them will lean out of bounds and they would get reset by the referee. In the cage this is impossible. So the fight continues, unless the ref determines that both fighters are stalling the action. This wall clinch is a grappling martial art in it's own way. There are numerous details and nuances that may or may not determine the outcome of an entire 5 round fight. Champions have been made in the clinch and belts have changed hands because one fighter was able to dominate the game on the wall.
