The HS80 with the 30 inch bar was the best hedgecutter ever made ,8 years after i left the garden business i find myself this week looking for another one to start again . Getting harder to find now though and i think the HS series dates back to the 80s .
@@Menditman2014 i dunno what it is about them. It's the only yard tool I will run an electric cord for. They don't bother me at all. Hey, it doesn't have to make sense. 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Pete, yes i think it was the usual case of the machine had been left for a number of years and as we know the carbs suffer if that happens , thanks for watching 🙂👍
Hi Mick I always like the older Stihl stuff it just seemed to last for ever, to me this one just looked like it had been sitting in a shed for a long time, but it was a nice easy fix which is always nice, thanks for watching 🙂👍
Trying to get a mates working never worked on these b4 am aiming to look at the ,cant remember the name . But its the part that connects the spark plug
Hi m8 great video! Bought one same yesterday and its hard to start so was going to do the same. Can I ask you where you bought the kit please? Part number perhaps? Thx
Hi Luke. It's the same engine as the HL75, FS80, FS85 etc so the top marking is for the vertical application of this engine type. Is this channel now for machinery and the other for your MANY mopeds?
Hi yes I remembered that after after recording the video 😂 yes this channel is now going to host the mower / garden tools also life stuff, the plan is to make it this a more casual channel. The other is the cars, vans and mopeds etc. Thanks for watching 🙂👍

Thank you so much. This was a huge help.
Good job, Hedge trimmers are the only thing I don't like to work on, I spend the whole time imagining me losing a finger to the blades.
Hi Bill they are ok, if concerned wrap a towel around the blades while you are working on them, thanks for watching 🙂👍
