This is my husband's favorite way to wear his hair and I've done about 5 or 6 different tutorials trying to get it to look like this and no other cut has been as straightforward as this one. I could actually understand how you were describing the shape and for the first time understood how this cut is supposed to work. It actually made sense the way you've done it and everyone else I've followed just made it way too complicated trying to put in lots of texture or extra steps or strange angles for layering that I could never quite understand the reason for. My mother has cut hair for 30 years and I have learned so much from her about hair my whole life and she couldn't even get this cut right on my husband. I finally did it! It looks great on him and even better, I actually understand it so I can repeat it. Thank you so much for these videos and for sharing your knowledge of what you do! My brother wanted a haircut and his hair was reeeeeally long. I usually cut my own hair at home and do a pretty decent job for a non professional so he’d been bugging me to cut his. This video was my SAVING GRACE let me tell you!!!! It took 2.5 hours 😅 bc I was being cautious but it turned out so good for my first time cutting someone else’s hair. Thank you so so much!
LOVE THIS! He kept wanting it just a little bit longer and so did you. Love the final outcome. And you are so sensitive to what your customer is feeling. A lot of time when a customer has grown hair out so long, just keeping that length in front makes them still feel like they have long hair. But this shape is so much better and will grow out beautifully Great work!
To the barber: it appears a lot of guys come in with long wavy hair and you cut it medium to short. I personally have med to long wavy hair and have found you need the weight or it pops out n frizzes
Dan is a magician! He makes everything look so effortless but when he does the unveiling their hair always looks amazing. And his hair is beautiful but it doesn’t hurt that he is an incredibly handsome guy!
I would love to have this clients long thick hair. It never fails in life the wrong people have something they do not want and those that want what someone else is blessed with can NEVER have it. Having said that nicely done short look for this client.

And he did it to perfection not even half an inch too long or too short. He just masters any hair cut that a man wants. Dude, you are not a barber! I don’t know about Australia, but in the United States a professional stylist would be insulted if you called them a barber! I don’t think stylist even describes what you do because it involves art, creativity, and skill. Standing on your feet all day with your arms extended, In the many hazards associated with your trade. The problem is that it is creating a mullet like look which I dont like. And I can't wait for my hair to get very long and then get a haircut. Soo which type of hair cut should I get right now to get rid of that mullet look ???

You could’ve asked to get a trim where the mullet is like 1/2 inches to get rid of it and keep letting it grow out
