Do yourself a favour and watch goodfellas ASAP, you can slowly work into the godfather (there's 3 of them and they're long) as well as "Casino "and "A bronx tale "are all amazing top tier must watch classics. If you want to see their most "modern" version of the same kinda film then watch the irishman as well (I liked it, some people didnt)

You should be HAPPY to hear that; it means he could watch it on the channel. Not everyone is a lumpen couch potato their whole lives, and half the ones that are play videogames instead of watching cable every waking minute.
