I think Rajkumar Hirani & Sanjay Leela Bhansali are two such directors whose movies you can watch without getting fooled. The characters in their movies are like normal people. Their main strength lies in their script, writing & screenplay. They don't exaggerate anything, be it their characters or situation or climax. Meghna Gulzar is also one of the very good director. She directed Filhaal, Just Married, Talvar, Raazi, Chhapaak. She is currently working on Sam Bahadur. She also directed a short film titled 'Pooranmaasi' in the movie Dus Kahaniyan. Watch it. Shoojit Sircar is also one of the very good director. He directed Yahaan, Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe, Piku, October, Gulabo Sitabo, Sardar Udham.
What about sriram raghavan, Badlapur,johnny gaddar, ek hasina thi and afcourse Andhadhun which got chinese praise, his thrillers are copied by south Andhadhun was literally remade as maestro in telugu, bhramam in malayalam and literally malayam is industry which is known for its stories and they remade it, andhagan in tamil is also coming I dont think anyone in india can make thrillers like him

It's hard for me to say this but this time the Social team let me down. If you say Indian cinema, then apart from South Indian and Bollywood, there are directors whose track record is no less. I come from Maharashtra and would like to say here that Praveen Tarde is a Marathi director who always got success at the box office.
I mean exclude the box office and think for yourself, Chaitanya Tamhane is a master already with just two films. Court was such a masterpiece and he followed it up with The Disciple which has the legendary Alfonso Cuaron as executive producer. Just think of it, why would such a great filmmaker become an executive producer of a Marathi film unless he's that sure about the filmmaker.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is gem. He's greatest director writer we have. His cinema is his own. Indian, artistic,grand without getting any Western inspiration. His padmavat is best film for me in the country in every aspect even bigger than bahubali. I have a dream to see him directing a big characteristic action spectacles with Tiger and vidyut together. It can create huge over box office and the competitiveness of these two young action stars can bring a phenomenal version of both of them, imagine the adrenaline ❤
This tiger and vidyut collaboration is something i always wanted from the bottom of my heart.... Either they are from two complete different backgrounds.... They are both super-humble stars.... And i truly think working with someone so passionate like vidyut jamwal, tiger shroff will learn a lot of this that will make him go truly beyond his previous selfs.... Tiger might lack a bit in acting, but what he needs is a film capable of his true potential... And working with vidyut will make him achieve that....!!!

I truly hope 'Ganapath' and 'bade miya chhote miya' will have a great storyline... Can't complain about action....
