I first rifle hunted elk in Colorado in 1970 thru 1973. I took a bull in each of those years. In 1975 I discovered bowhunting. I have made 27 trips to Colorado bowhunting. I have taken 17 bulls in those years. I am now 77 and my legs won't make the trips anymore and I really miss it. My last trip was when I was 73. Agent Orange has taken its toll on my body. From a guy who was a Colorado resident it ain't easy. I lived at 9800 feet and just the climb kicks your butt and I was 58 when I lived there. I miss Colorado and it makes Ohio hills seem like speed bumps

Not video related, but... Congrats on getting your own bow with Bear. Pretty cool to be seeing those coming in at Bass Pro. I may have to set that as a new way to decide you've really made it as an Influencer. When one of the oldest companies in an industry gives you that opportunity and one of the biggest dealers in the world is selling it, you've definitely hit one hell of a milestone.
it shoots nicely too, nothing too extreme for the average user, but still good performance. I really like that you still have the limb stop option in there for folks who want a hard stop rather than the cable stop. I think you did really well picking out features and parts to make a bow that lives up to your philosophy and audience.

I don't understand why they do that. Why not get it out ASAP? Pay an editor that isn't on the hunt to put the video together and get it out. That makes more sense to me then sitting on footage for a year.

Im jealous of them, id love to live that life. Im sure it has its difficulties just like our lives, w probably only see the good times, the smooth times. Id love to try it tho. Wonder f Zach would watch my three kids (3 year old, 2 year old, 11 month old) and let me take off with the crew to chase elk? 🤣🤣

I hunted first season rifle in Colorado last year also. definitely saw way more hunters than elk, like 20 to 1. Are other states this loaded with hunters in elk season?

Don't you all ever chow jerky/vittles from previous kills, while doing these trips? I imagine it's a time management variable that might limit your processed harvest bounty.
I was disappointed to see that Grant was in this video and you didn’t show the clip of him tripping over the fence that one time. It should be a rule that that clip is in the video if Grant is in the video, it never gets old.
I'll be hunting with Grant a lot this elk season. When I edit the vids I'll try to include the fence clip as much as possible haha!

If you boys want to be around an absolute shyt ton of other hunters, Colorado is the place to be. Fortunately there are a lot of Elk....at least for now. We'll have to see what toll the Wolf reintroduction has on them; I'm sure the Wolves will have a hay day.

Get some ear plugs instead of the big bulky ear muffs 😂
They are noise cancelling ear muffs. So you can hear through them until the shot. Pretty impressive piece of gear. Also seems like it could really help your hearing in the long term! There are also noise cancelling plugs that may be easier to manage. May try those someday too!
