I first rifle hunted elk in Colorado in 1970 thru 1973. I took a bull in each of those years. In 1975 I discovered bowhunting. I have made 27 trips to Colorado bowhunting. I have taken 17 bulls in those years. I am now 77 and my legs won't make the trips anymore and I really miss it. My last trip was when I was 73. Agent Orange has taken its toll on my body. Have fun while you can and good luck to you young men. I really enjoy your videos.
From a guy who was a Colorado resident it ain't easy. I lived at 9800 feet and just the climb kicks your butt and I was 58 when I lived there. I miss Colorado and it makes Ohio hills seem like speed bumps Go do the Manitou climb and film it
Is it Monday yet?? I’m ready to see how this one ended.. I’m so anxious for that and season!! 29 more sleeps and I’ll finally be in the woods! Good luck this year THP, and everyone!
Love watching all you guys hunt and interact with each other you guys have so much fun sometimes I feel like I’m right there with you keep up the awesome Content
Not video related, but... Congrats on getting your own bow with Bear. Pretty cool to be seeing those coming in at Bass Pro. I may have to set that as a new way to decide you've really made it as an Influencer. When one of the oldest companies in an industry gives you that opportunity and one of the biggest dealers in the world is selling it, you've definitely hit one hell of a milestone. it shoots nicely too, nothing too extreme for the average user, but still good performance. I really like that you still have the limb stop option in there for folks who want a hard stop rather than the cable stop. I think you did really well picking out features and parts to make a bow that lives up to your philosophy and audience.
Legit just started watching yall last night with my husband, and now I'm obsessed!!! I'm hoping to go hunting next season or the one after ! I got a lot to learn and you're teaching !!
Man love yalls content. I have to say, I'd have to have Zach on all my hunts, dude sure knows how to keep spirits up. Love the energy man. Yall keep grinding and putting out great content.
I love yalls channel!!!! I live in Cortez Co. Lived her my whole life. Definitely should meet up on year and come hunt lower southwest with me! You guys are the best 👌
I don't understand why they do that. Why not get it out ASAP? Pay an editor that isn't on the hunt to put the video together and get it out. That makes more sense to me then sitting on footage for a year.
Thanks! It's extremely challenging to tackle editing these projects so we save them for the offseason. In the long run it helps us keep more consistent hunting content on the channel. We appreciate you watching!
I would love to do what you guys do but I am not jealous. Love everything you guys do best of luck this deer season. I'm just happy you guys share this with us keep it up.
Im jealous of them, id love to live that life. Im sure it has its difficulties just like our lives, w probably only see the good times, the smooth times. Id love to try it tho. Wonder f Zach would watch my three kids (3 year old, 2 year old, 11 month old) and let me take off with the crew to chase elk? 🤣🤣
I hunted first season rifle in Colorado last year also. definitely saw way more hunters than elk, like 20 to 1. Are other states this loaded with hunters in elk season?
Don't you all ever chow jerky/vittles from previous kills, while doing these trips? I imagine it's a time management variable that might limit your processed harvest bounty.
I was disappointed to see that Grant was in this video and you didn’t show the clip of him tripping over the fence that one time. It should be a rule that that clip is in the video if Grant is in the video, it never gets old.
Welcome to colorful Colorado we have 50 elk and 1,000 hunters been hunting there for years. Wyoming Utah Idaho New Mexico pick another state a lot better to hunt in
If you boys want to be around an absolute shyt ton of other hunters, Colorado is the place to be. Fortunately there are a lot of Elk....at least for now. We'll have to see what toll the Wolf reintroduction has on them; I'm sure the Wolves will have a hay day.
They are noise cancelling ear muffs. So you can hear through them until the shot. Pretty impressive piece of gear. Also seems like it could really help your hearing in the long term! There are also noise cancelling plugs that may be easier to manage. May try those someday too!

I love how Ted has that look like he's listening but he is 5 steps ahead in his thought process. But he still just politely listening. Humble dude!
Zach and Ted seem like such great guys to be in the woods with as do all the THP guys for that matter. What a great channel and such great content.
Love watching all you guys hunt and interact with each other you guys have so much fun sometimes I feel like I’m right there with you keep up the awesome Content
I was just thinking I hadn't seen a THP video in a few days need my fix
This hunt is the most Colorado experience ever. I live here and hunt in other states.

All the hard work last season gave the world some of the best hunting content ever seen. Thanks from all of us!
Going to Colorado for second gun season for the first time this year. Can’t wait.
I went through and watched All the Michigan bow hunt challenge gearing up for bow season here in the glove wooo!!!!!! Stoked!!!
Fellow Michigander. It was sweet they came here for the challenge but I was surprised the didn’t try to do it in APR areas!
I really enjoy watching your interactions with each other. Not since my days in the Army have I had good Brother friendships like this.
One of the best things about hunting is the camaraderie! Thanks for your service!

Sweet!!! Can't wait to see the next video! Great content and hunts!!!
Thanks Jeremiah! We are excited for the next one to air!
It would be great to have Zach as a hunting partner. Hunts out of the box and always enthusiastic about it.
On the edge of best private-public boundary opening day seems like best strategy

You might think about packing an electric bear fence. 2.4 lbs for huge peace of mind
I'm shocked by you guys not having radios!
Great series!
How did you get an archery elk class A tag and then another rifle bull elk class A tag in Colorado? Tell me. Hmmm
Great clip!
Living the good life
That was a cool shot at the start when the horse looked back at you thru the snow
Great stuff guys. What hunt unit is this ?
what units or areas is that? north south east west? I'm heading to red feather lakes region in the Roosevelt national forest 2'nd week of October.

where in Wisconsin are you from? I'm from Northern Oconto County
jesus how many people do you need to go elk hunting?
Holy gypsy camp backpack ha
How for the drive for Hayden
Somewhere before 10
Welcome to CO, where you can't go anywhere or do anything without a thousand people also being there.
That's true! Hunting pressure is as bad as it gets there during all hunting seasons. But there are animals out there!
Where is this hunt?

I just realized that Zach without a hat on looks just like wild bill Cody. Just saying. Pretty sure he is reincarnated in Zach form.
Seems an awful lot like gun season in Ohio 😂. 3x as many hunters as there are deer
It's similar! I can speak from experience of hunting both!
what is a legal bull consist of

Screw that spot to many hunters shooting around you.

Was there a point to all this???
That guy can not track elk with a dog that is illegal
So hard to kill anything with a rifle! Not!!! Elk should be bow only.
