Before the helicopter bungee jump with Will Smith on his 50th birthday, happening September 25th, we decided that Thomas and Matt would partake in a risky stunt of their own. Needless to say it was the experience of a lifetime.

Your videography game has jumped way the hell up. And that commercial at the end? As someone in the comments basically said, It Is SUPERBOWL level
I wouldn't call it videography anymore. They would have hired a helicopter camera system, don't think a drone could give them footage that good.

Andreas wouldn't have fully been responsible for those shots. Those are definitely shots from a helicopter camera, RED with a large zoom lens. He might have been operating the remote gimble from inside the heli but obviously those shots need a trained safety pilot, whoever that was would have played a major role.

The first time the helicopter flips it just looks like it's falling out of the sky. I was actually scared.
They wouldn't post that and plus you would hear about it
To be honest that’s all the heli can do in a backflip, he pulls up far enough to flip the heli and then he tries to pull it back up but the rotation of the heli is slow so he goes in a lil free fall before his blades pick up enough thrust to push the heli straight again and gain lift again
It's goes twice fast to the ground
It wouldn't just fall, it would be thrusting itself down, which is much, much worse.
its basically what it is its called stalling and he uses the fall to speed up into the next one

I remember watching your videos at the start of this year, I wanted to travel somewhere over the summer but I also wanted to do something new and get out of my comfort zone. I ended up deciding to go on a language trip to Spain for 3 weeks (i'm 17). I went alone so I didn't know anyone beforehand and it was also the first time flying without my family (until this year i've been afraid of flying for years). And I am so glad I went! It turned out to be the best 3 weeks of my life!! I made so many great friends from countries all over Europe. It was something I had never experienced before, that residence was the home of 200 students from different nationalities and we just had the best time together. I don't know if Yes Theory or anyone is going to see this but if someone does I hope this inspires them in some way. Love from Finland :)
It's great reading things like this. My trip to New Zealand last year was similar. First time to leave the country by myself, a month in NZ, was not sure what I was getting myself into. Changed my entire life, now I just got back from traveling SE Asia also, and about to go to Central America. New friends and connections, and so much I learned. It changes everything, I hope also that more people will try to do something "crazy" as this. It opens a whole new world

i just want to know how you try any of these “acrobatics” for the first time
Aislinn Hess the aircraft manufacturers use math to determine limits of the subsystems in the helicopter, and use that to theorize. If they want to they can invest in an unmanned version of the helicopter first... or hand it over to a test pilot (who is always also a type of engineer) to add input and then test fly.
Probably in a sim that flies like the heli’s that can do this! But it all comes down to the blades if those can handle the stress it’s pretty much getting altitude and pulling back on the stick and then let physics do the work

I didn't like the editing/camera work, it kinda ruined the video for me, way too 'dramatic' and the zoomed shots made it hard to really enjoy the video.

I have seen military helicopters way out in the desert over gun ranges doing that... as well as some other extremely crazy moves... Pretty amazing how far helicopters have come over the years and what they can do with a good pilot holding the stick...!!

I believe they have special rotors or something to be able to go upside down, because normal helicopters can’t.
This is because they have special propellers. It's like a super flat propeller. Normal heli does not have it. Oh yeah, it is also very expensive. :D

To seek discomfort, y'all should go to Nicaragua and Volcano surf down Cerro Negro. I did this a couple years ago and it was the most thrilling experience of my life! I went out of my comfort zone and I experienced the beauty that the world had to offer.

That is one of the most exhilarating and adrenaline charged stunts ever , kudos to the pilot , unbelievable skills , I'm sure these stunts are much harder to do in a helicopter than in a fighter jet
