The whole work setup at LandWey is a definition of Sustainable Design Thinking. Incorporating fun into workplace reduces stress. I think most employers need to adopt this strategy instead of seeing workplace as a prison.

Thank you for your videos and your service to many American Black people to be able to see and experience the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of different cultures and countries. Tayo, you're lucky being on your own. I've been doing a 7- 4pm job for 35 years in Lagos as a school teacher and it hasn't been easy. Waking up as early as 4.30am to prepare to face traffic across the Third Mainland Bridge from Ikorodu to Ikoyi in a Danfo is a hell of a time. When coming back in the evening one experiences worse traffic and most of us get home at 10pm and not meeting power at home.
In short it's terrible! I'll love to switch places with you.

Yes, I'm a 9-5er in Lagos and I know that thing. All those smart moves in your head. Like the ability to identify a potentially slow ride and avoid it. Hmm, let me gist you. There were days when I borded private cars from Iyana Oworo and the driver goes like...okay let's all put head together which route we follow to avoide the traffic, or say someone should pls check google for us, and everybody begins to contribute. So, later I'm like okay we've suddenly become a team to fight Lagos traffic... hmmm mad ooh!

I actually love what I do, I’m an Electrical Engineer, but I HATE Lagos traffic, I HATE the transportation system (danfo, lil buses, LT etc.), did I mention I HATE LAGOS TRAFFIC?!
Lagos traffic literally gets me sick, like if I stay to long in traffic going home I may just have to resume in the hospital the next day and call in sick at work, yes it’s that bad.
Then for lunch, I can’t do heavy foods else I’d be useless all day…. I’m a tea guy and I’m fine with tea and snacks for breakfast and rice for lunch….
So in summary I actually do like a 9-5 but really really hate the way it’s structured and the stress to and fro.

A unique and great presentation of the work environment in Lagos. This workspace is not your everyday office. It looks relaxed and employees seem happy. It's a CONTEMPORARY work environment. This type of office environment does increase employee productivity. Some of them also dressed casually which means they possibly don't have a rigid policy about dressing. As per the morning routine, I am like you Tayo. I love my morning coffee but I do have milk in mine. I am one of the privileged ones around the world that work remotely. This is the new world. There are now a lot of jobs that can be done from anywhere in the world as long as you have quality internet. At least for once, you have put your Estate Management Degree into use.
