Like you I won't be able to go home for the holidays. So,we are decorating a large plant rather than buying a tree. Way too much work to dump a tree after the holidays and no room to store a fake one. Putting some black Llardro angels out and piling up the presents under the decorated plant.

Hi Tiff shout out to your parents for the home package, Tiff how hard is it to get packages home with using transportation and how many steps is that you go down what floor do you live on? Also l just recently finished Emily in Paris did the series end with that cliffhanger with the guy getting to stay in Paris to continue working at the restaurant and his girlfriend calling her at the end
My packages ship directly to my apartment so I don't have to worry about transportation! And 5 floors haha, the struggle. LOL yes .. the ultimate cliffhanger - let's see what season 2 has in store

I never liked crowds, COVID, or no COVID. I usually shop when it's fewer people. These days, I shop online. I prefer a fake tree but with all the lights already one because it's a hot mess trying to put them on. Easy decorating without the fuss. I'll deal with putting the ornaments, the wreath, and the garland. This year in California, my family decided that we're not decorating and use this season to reflect, and cook/bake Christmas food.
You know you are loved when your family sends you Lawry's. We put that on everything! LOL

I got a real tree, I've never had anything else. I just love the smell and don't mind putting reminders on my computer so I don't forget to water it (which I've done before!) I really want to visit my cousins in Paris for Christmas one of these days.
I can't justify the cost of real trees when you can get a lovely faux 🎄 and use it for many years. I have 2 faux trees that fit into a closet in the boxes they came in.
Totally understand! I was so glad to find a faux tree that would fit in my little apartment!
I wanted the smell of Christmas in my house. So I bought a diffuser, the one you use with reeds. Winter Forest- well I had to give it away because I started itching from the oils. I should have known better because I have allergies to fragrance, etc.
Anyway, have you tried listening to music for sleep on Pandora - Sleep radio. Also there is an app here in the US called Calm but it’s not free. One moment meditation is free app. I used to share an office with a therapist who recommended this app for his patients. I am Nurse Practitioner but worked primary care.
I hope you can get some sleep soon, sounds like you are on the right track talking to someone .

I haven’t been able to sleep for over a week now without wakening in the middle the night for a few hours. I think it might be connected to the state of the world currently. Also, if you check the Schumann resonance (earth’s frequency) that is monitored by scientists for a few years now, it has spiked like never before in human history. Being that humans are energy and frequency, any disturbances on the earth’s frequency and energetic field; also affects everything living within our planet. Merry Christmas girl! Be safe❤️
Tiff, have you ever been to aromazone? I think you would like it, It has so many natural products and essential oils. I could spend hours there! There must be at least 2 locations in Paris

I have been to Paris many times. About ten years ago my husband and I spent just over a week in Paris for Christmas and it was wonderful. The window displays were fab and I really enjoyed all of the Christmas markets. While there was lots of shopping going on, it was not the crazy commercial version we have in the USA. It was much more traditional and similar to the way I grew up in a small city. It was also nice to enjoy how quite and calm the city is the week between Christmas and New Year.
Love your videos ❤️ You asked for feedback about the iPhone vs full-sized camera. It seems as if you may be able to detect if you’re framing yourself better with the phone camera versus the full-sized camera. You were cut off in some of the shots, and it was more noticeable that you were holding a camera at arms-length in some frames.
Actually I have 2 diffusers, one for my bedroom and one for my desk, must have the nice fragrance around.
I use a fake tree that I'm been using every year. Put up lights and beany babies animals because my cats tend to break my ornaments. Wednesday my hubby and I are driving through this light show on this street in Martinez California

Your family is looking out for you! How wonderful! I have an artificial tree but love natural trees for the pine scent. I find the artificial trees convenient to set up since I live in an apartment. I've been having strange dreams also which is par for the course during these trying times!

Try maybe breathing exercises before bed. There are so many and they slow down your thoughts and induce sleep. Also melatonin, or valerian root at bedtime can help.

Oh Paris is OUT OUT lol it looks the same over here in NY, we are locking down as well. I totally feel you on the anxiety, that mixed with seasonal depression and having more restrictions than usual would stress anybody out. Try lavender spray on the pillows and drink hops extract before bed to help with the sleeplessness. I can’t wait to see how your tree and decor comes out!
P.S - I know it’s a lot to carry around but I vote for the vlogging camera
I agree 100% vlogging camera! I'm getting a wide lens for it too so I think this is the way to go moving forward. Yeah there's just entirely too much going on in this world rnn ... practicing self-care as much as I can!

Hey Tiff. I use a diffuser as well. Try lavender for the diffuser, that helps with sleep. I was supposed to be in Paris, but I was able to be with in daughter in Japan, which is truly a blessing. Thank you for the videos, I am still enjoying them all. As for the tree, I always had a live tree but has since stopped getting them and just decorate my home instead. Dear Tiff, Hi, thanks for showing the Paris Christmas vibe but I just have to say, I totally feel your pain regarding insomnia- I am exactly the same at the moment in the UK. I don't know if it's tension or lack of control over what is going on in our world, we are just dealing with day by day stuff in the most extraordinary ways and it becomes wearisome and so difficult. I guess we are all on our guard and yet some people don't care and are out partying which makes me feel even more anxious. It is such a strain on us all if we care about the situation and miss loved ones and friends. I feel your pain! Stay calm and be your lovely self, take care xx

A few drops goes a long way and it creates such a calming vibe that lulls you to sleep.

Some of the foods you may not find because they have genetically modified ingredients (like M&Ms) that are not permitted in the EU.

Hey Tiff! I don't normally comment but I just wanted to let you know about your camera. I think your iPhone does just as good of a job & it's not so clunky to carry around. I just use my phone also & it's just an LG. I agree about the crowds & people here in Northern California are getting so careless. I mainly order everything online. After decorating, make cookies & give them to your neighbors; especially the elderly ones. That always puts me in the Christmas spirit. Merry Christmas!

I’m in SC and EVERY TIME I go out, I’m filled with anxiety! It’s a mess here. You got some nice Christmas stuff. Stay well and enjoy the holidays!
The COVID bad dreams are real. It think it’s lack of visual stimulation during the day from quarantine. My teen daughter has anxiety and uses a diffuser with lavender oil and I believe it helps her sleep. Then I diffuse orange for the day when she has virtual school. I’m in Los Angeles , schools close since March.

Paris looks so beautiful. I have had my artificial tree for years and I assemble it. It's in two pieces and I got it at Walmart about 10 years ago.I don't think I could care for a real tree--too much work. You can keep your tree for years!

I love the diffuser but I am such a light sleeper the sound would bother me at night. So I would make me own air refresher with the oils and spray the room with lavender take deep breaths and it would me down enough to relax and eventually fall asleep.

We opted for a faux tree! We always have a real tree! This year it was easy to put three pieces together & decorate!! It’s a beauty!!

I’m so over the maintenance and drooping of a real tree, I have been using a pre-lit artificial tree for years and love it because it always looks fabulous!
