10:35 I've always wondered whether or not this cinematic trailer that's playing is actually canon. Geralt did tell Orianna that he'd come back to kill her one day, and I think this trailer is supposed to show that.
Similar to the Winnie the Pooh easter egg, there's one for Calvin and Hobbs as well! I don't remember where it was, but I discovered it while visiting all the question mark locations on my map, so it is marked. You'll encounter a panther near a dead body, who will have a note addressed to "Calvin" explaining he adopted the panther and named it Hobbs.

I'm really late to this party, but about Unicorn Roach: I had her in my NG+ until the Novigrad part and was pretty thrilled about it... She had weird rendering issues with horse gear, I had the Capashen of Lament equipped and its model merging with the unicorn's was weird and ugly, but when the gear was showing, I was usually able to make her appear gearless by removing the saddle and putting it back. Unfortunately, I lost her on the Broken Flowers quest by accepting Morvran's offer of riding together to the Vegelbud Estate's race track to meet Dandelion's friend Molly, that made her revert to normal Roach. So I'd say the main risk of losing the unicorn than you can avoid is cut scenes on horseback (then again, some cutscenes are fine, like the espace from the Wild Hunt with Yenn between White Orchard and Vizima, which fully works and is pretty nice with Unicorn Roach).
A cool detail: if the lady on the tree is freed and kills the lumber after possesing the dog, you can loot the exact amount of money you negociated with him xD
This one could be considered a tiny detail with regards to the slaying of Imlerith. When you go back after you have defeated him, you can loot his body and find that he's carrying a magic acorn. If you scrap it you get skill points or you can give it to the villagers when they ask for the seeds if you want. Keep making great content my friend.

Then in the 10th Anniversary Cinematic Geralt says Regis occasionally stops by with strange herbs and he, Triss, and Yennefer disappear into the alchemy labs for hours. Geralt’s one true love and Yennefer are getting stoned with his vampire bestie. Toussaint is truly a magical place
There are also some of those Voynich pages in Regis' crypt, two different ones and two of each. The weird thing is that on the wall by the small desk they're right side up, but on the wall by the big desk they're upside down.
I've just recently started watching your B&W series about missed details, so I don't know if you mention it in another one, but since you mention quite a few songs in this one, I'll go ahead: There is an old man in Beauclair, I believe close to the square around the Nilfgaardian Embassy that recites the first lyrics of "Norwegian Wood" by The Beatles. He says "I once had a girl, or should I say, she once had me." Thank you for all the effort and nice work, take care.
I think you could do a part 2 video for basically every areas :D There are so many details in the game and the dlcs. For example I realized on my fifth playthrough that the icon in the upper left corner changes during the wedding quest of HoS. Originally it's the wolf head medallion, but when Geralt is possessed, it is the crest of the von Everec family
Just wanted to say thanks for continuing to make so much Witcher content all these years later. I had seen most of the game's story and such because my friend and old roommate would play it all the time, but I finally picked it up myself last week, so this stuff is really appreciated. :)

This one was amazing! You talked about my favourite side quest with Talking Roach and told me so many new things about the quest I didn’t know. Thank you 🙏🏻
I believe you missed the undertaker in the cemetery singing Norwegian Wood, by The Beatles. When you do the till death makes us apart quest. He clearly sings "I once had a girl or by should I say..."
Did you know, that in the hearts of stone DLC (i know it belongs to another video, sorry) at the place, where you meet G O D after he saved you, by day there is a group of children singing his song
There is also another thing people might have missed if you enter prophets lebiodas temple there is a breakable wall use aard and inside the wall there is a spectre of a mage he will attack you and when you deafeat him you have to pick his bones and put it in a sarcophagus and I think geralt will say something like a spectre in a place like this and ,when you put the bones in the sarcophagus he will say rest in piece
The only things I missed during my glorious run in Blood and Wind in this video were the "The Developers Picture + The Unicorn Horse", and that's it ! I'm really thrilled that even me i still managed to never miss out on all these cool stuff in the video :) .
You speak about Game of Throne reference, but there is also a DISCWORLD reference in Blood and Wine. You can encounter NPCs saying "Ritbug! Centennial Foot and Crabs!" which is a direct reference to "Bugrit!" "Millennium Hand and Shrimp" which are about the only things the character of Foul Ole Ron is known for saying. I also played the game in French and unlike in english, they kept the quote untouched, so I don't know about the Polish version.
@@xLetalis It's one of the most extensive saga of Fantasy novels ever written. One of the most famous as well. Was written by late Sir Terry Pratchett. Takes place on a discworld carried on four elephants themself carried on the back of a giant sea turtle swimming across the universe. It's as funny as it is philosophical, I highly recommend it.
I played Blood and Wine and I chose to do what Regis wanted me to do when the vampires attack Beauclair. I did not run into Guillarme's body and when I was getting my medal from the duchess I thought I saw Guillarme in full armor by Viviennes side.
@@xLetalis I'm not all that familiar with it myself, but familiar enough to recognize an easter egg. It's just a panther that attacks Geralt somewhere in Toussaint and you can find a note amongst the camp where the easter egg is revealed.
Yes i remember it. Calvin and Hobbes is a comic strip about a boy who have an imaginary friend who is a panther. There is a men in the game who try to raise a panther.
There's an abandoned prison near the Lady of the Lakes Isle too with a hooded woman in. She walks towards you, laughs, sheds her cloak and turns into a Bruxa. Creeped me out the first time.
I know people want to play as Ciri if another Witcher game comes out but I would be interested in seeing the second Conjuction of The Spheres and the new types of monsters, revival of witcher schools, etc
I know this video is old, but during your Heart of Stone playthrough, did you notice 4 smalls children singing Gaunter's theme? They're located near Yantra and those Ofieri refugees at which you can complete the set and enchant your equip.
And when i thought i can finally finish a video of yours that i already know about all the details said, you show me a picture of the developers and a unicorn roach *sigh

I actually found the staff image by accident while messing around with ansel! For some reason the photo wasn’t as high quality as it appears in the video
In the witch of Lynx Crag quest there's another way to get the bad ending wherein the wraith appears even if you trigger the dialogue, plead to the witch and use Sir Gareth's bones, it occurs if you light the pyres in a wrong manner i.e not in the manner mentioned.
The fact that everyone knows what genes and mutations are means they're certainly more advanced than our world during Medieval times! Heck, Darwin didn't even know about genes when he wrote Origin of Species (though Mendel did discover it during his lifetime)!

11:29 iirc I met that girl randomly around the map. 14:24 oh that's a shame. Using Ansel, I have taken so many awesome screenshots. I like to call it the 'Eye of Nvidia'
I would like to add that if you stand near the end of rainbow in Land of Thousand Fables and use 'Eye of Nvidia' to move to the clouds above, you can actually see models of the Giant's Castle. There is no floor in it but the walls are solid and has collision detection (as camera will get stuck there)
The opposite is also true. If you are in the giants Castle, you can move the camera downward using 'Eye of Nvidia' to see that the Land of Thousand Fables still exist below. My point is that developers could have made them as separate levels as one normally wouldn't be able to move from one to the other but they actually tried to make it in the same level with the Castle actually being in the clouds.
9:54 there is something i wanna say about your try to finish off the Bruxae on the ground, it doesnt work because she is to fast in getting up, so you need SOMETHING to make her SLOWER Yrden 1st yrden then aard then finish off but stamina wont regenarate fast enough, unless you have endless stamina. The wolf/dog at 2:49 sounds a bit like Guillaume
This was an awesome video and I'm totally having unicorn Roach in a future playthrough!
:D I couldn't help it! And yes it's definitely Guillaume!
16:39 Leonardo da Vinci's paintings "Studies of the Fetus in the Womb" and the "Studies of the bones anatomy"
This makes me very happy
11:41 no way.
CDPR actually references that meme.
It’s the He-man meme
Omg I laughed sooooo hard
you never cease to surprise and love that you put this amount of time and passion into finding these little details..keep up the good work.
I'll do my best :)
The "I say hey, hey, hey, what's going on" quote from the guy next to the "GoT girl" ... that's a 4 Non Blondes song quote.
yes
This one was amazing! You talked about my favourite side quest with Talking Roach and told me so many new things about the quest I didn’t know. Thank you 🙏🏻
my pleasure :)
¿Is it possible to speak with the goat Princess?
what do you mean? Avoid the bear somehow?
@@xLetalis Secret number 2: Understanding animals. ¿Is there any chances that you could now understand Princess?
@@elmundodezowl oh, no - the quest fails if you run away from the area and you stop understanding
@@xLetalis Damn, that would be great.
didn't think there'd be more details that i had missed, but apparently there was. thank you for doing another one of these
2:49 Guillaume, I always recognizes his voice because it sounds Scandinavian
yes that's him
Can confirm Roach stays a unicorn through at least Bloody Baron in NG+, but then reverted back, for some reason.
Great video as always, thanks!
You are finally back, great!
Still, it feels like you haven't even started to scratch the surface.
Good luck with part 6-10:)
hehe, thanks, it's good to be back!
I believe you missed the undertaker in the cemetery singing Norwegian Wood, by The Beatles. When you do the till death makes us apart quest. He clearly sings "I once had a girl or by should I say..."
The developer picture was awesome!
That Voynich manuscript Easter Egg just blew my mind. Little tiny details like this are why I love this game and your channel!
3:14 the last time I played this quest I followed this cat for a while just to hear this line over and over. Still cracks me up idk why😂
hehe, I can believe that, with a profile picture like yours!
Lol I hadn't realised but it really fits. I think I'll have to borrow the quote for my channel description 😼
Did you know, that in the hearts of stone DLC (i know it belongs to another video, sorry) at the place, where you meet G O D after he saved you, by day there is a group of children singing his song
yep, in fact, I did not mention it in my HoS details video because I thought it's too obvious :) Since normally you end up on that spot by day
Love you - I’ve been playing the Witcher constantly since 2015 but I only just finally “finished” a play through
So have I :)
There is also a guy at the southern Vineyards who sings '' In the forest the bear sleeps tonight " , reference to the lions king movie soundtrack
oh interesting
Wow I wake up to this what a beautiful thing thank you again letalis you legendary human
I shall grant you 3 wishes for that
Lovely, I'll have to think about it!
I'll have to check it out
The only things I missed during my glorious run in Blood and Wind in this video were the "The Developers Picture + The Unicorn Horse", and that's it !
I also played the game in French and unlike in english, they kept the quote untouched, so I don't know about the Polish version.
sadly I'm not aware of what that is :(
@@xLetalis It's one of the most extensive saga of Fantasy novels ever written. One of the most famous as well. Was written by late Sir Terry Pratchett. Takes place on a discworld carried on four elephants themself carried on the back of a giant sea turtle swimming across the universe. It's as funny as it is philosophical, I highly recommend it.
9:23 ahhh "Lesbomancy" XDDD
In the minute 11:40 is the chorus part of the song What's up of the band 4 Non Blondes , excellent song actually .
Omg, I waited this a lot of time but you never disappointed me after all❤️❤️, keep up👍🏻
glad to hear :)
The quest at Lynx Crag is pure art. So many outcomes, and a touching story. One of my favourite side missions in any game ever.
mine as well!
Hey
Welcome back
it's good to be back ;]
Wolf?
Hmmm...
Care for a round of gwent?!
Hmm..
@@vesemir25 how are things at kaer morhen?
I like how polite the cow, dogs and the wolf are.
I played Blood and Wine and I chose to do what Regis wanted me to do when the vampires attack Beauclair. I did not run into Guillarme's body and when I was getting my medal from the duchess I thought I saw Guillarme in full armor by Viviennes side.
you see his body if you skipped his quest altogether
There's also a Calvin and Hobbes reference. Seems like it goes unnoticed by so many, but its kinda neat.
Don't know what Calvin and Hobbes is :{
@@xLetalis I'm not all that familiar with it myself, but familiar enough to recognize an easter egg.
@@tranberu2987 YES! It surprised me when I ran into it and found the note.
I recently started a new Death March playthrough. This time as a game from scratch instead of a NG+ Death March.
good luck ;]
Thank you for still making these! Absolutely missed the first quest (where you talk to Roach) :)
my pleasure ;]
Part 4 already... so much to find it's crazy!
There's an abandoned prison near the Lady of the Lakes Isle too with a hooded woman in.
She walks towards you, laughs, sheds her cloak and turns into a Bruxa.
Creeped me out the first time.
That’s actually an Alp and she’s guarding the Grandmaster Manticore gear
I missed YOU
About the sack with nilfgaardian coins - i guess that's the same one was found in the mouth of the third murdered vampire victim
They're located near Yantra and those Ofieri refugees at which you can complete the set and enchant your equip.
yep, I thought that's somewhat common, but perhaps I should've mentioned it
Roach completing the quest on her own is hilarious and awesome.
indeed!
Your videos are always a pleasure and this one didn't disappoint! I especially loved the unicorn:)
Thank you :)
And when i thought i can finally finish a video of yours that i already know about all the details said, you show me a picture of the developers and a unicorn roach *sigh
hehe
I thank you and the viewer Zane for the Voynich manuscript stuff! I have recently watched a documentary about it and it completely blew my mind away, I am so going to look into the Infirmary!
The pleasure is ours :)
@@xLetalis Voynich was a polish bookseller who discovered the manuscript in 1912.
Jesus, so many things we missed, what did we found? Let's ask this existential question.
"My favourite type of magic." I heard the dwarf when you said that. LOL.
Fecking fairy-flaps, finally made another episode in the series!
Just three likes? Lmao
Fuckin' doodle doo
very enjoyable video, been waiting for months!!
The fact that everyone knows what genes and mutations are means they're certainly more advanced than our world during Medieval times! Heck, Darwin didn't even know about genes when he wrote Origin of Species (though Mendel did discover it during his lifetime)!
Idk if this was said before, but i was playing the fist of fury quest in blood and wine, and apparently you can just beat the long blonde guy with earrings by beating him with insults only. I have no idea what i said, im pretty sure i chose all the top options but, i didnt have to fight him and my twin and i just stared at my tv in pure awe. Sorry if anyone seen this happen or something and i just didnt know!
yeah :) I thought it's rather obvious
0:29 "Enormous" spoilers. I see what you did there...
I would like a series like this for the older witcher games! I love your vids
Been desperately waiting for another „Details you missed“! I currently don‘t have any school due to the German government panicking about coronavirus and I don‘t know what else to do/watch
So...Thanks man! Keep up the great work!
My pleasure :) Hope things get better soon
xLetalis Hope so too...! Also hope none of us will actually catch it, might not ne deadly but still, being sick sucks! Oh, what I wouldn‘t give to be a Witcher right now and be immune
About that unicorn and NG+ stuff, you can have Vladimir's running animation the same way by starting a NG+ using the wedding quest file in HoS
gotta check that :)
But it works so the fight with the Bruxae of Corvo Bianco was literally 5 seconds for me :D
Nice, I assume that being impossible/really hard is s reference to the trailer :)
"Was there anything you missed"
YES ALL OF IT!
Heh :)
I'm french and i am happy to discover all these hidden details in witcher 3 thanks to you ! I can inform you in the story of the hooded woman that Christophe Dugarry is a french footballer in the 2000's, that is a very funny detail for me !
Yeah a few others said so... any adultery in his personal story? :)
14:23 Have you tried WASD keys? your non-english keyboard might be AZERTY or something else and Ansel doesn't support any other regional keyboards, it treats every keyboard as a WASD one.
yeah I have, I've never used a non-WASD keyboard ;] Never seen one actually either
That developers painting has to be my favourite Easter egg
