- Bamberg is a city in Bavaria, Germany. Located in Upper Franconia, on the river Regnitz, Bamberg is well-known for its well-preserved medieval and baroque architecture, leading to its UNESCO World Heritage Site status. The city's population is around 77,000.
Our tour shows the unique old town layout of Bamberg, preserving structures from the early Middle Ages to the baroque period. We start looking at the Old Town Hall, situated in the middle of a bridge and see key landmarks like the Bamberg Cathedral, with its four towers. The Imperial Cathedral, established in the 11th century, containing the tombs of Emperor Henry II and Pope Clement II.
We make a good tour around the old town, newer areas and along the Regnitz river before we return to our starting point near the Old Town Hall.

Thank you! I'm happy with the new Osmo Pocket 3 camera. For now I may stay a bit home working on some more parts - probably until early May. With longer days coming up in Europe I have a few travel plans. The winter walks with the Pocket 3 (Salzburg, Munich, Landsberg, Bamberg, Weimar) are now already all posted so I'm looking forward to recording new ones.

Thank you, Brigitte! I actually got to record GPS for most of my walks for a few years already, yet just now got around enough automation to include the maps quickly.
It looks like I'll reupload the current membership videos with such route-preview intro for everyone. They are fun to edit. Thos 10% "shortcuts" of the whole walk seems useful to get an impression of a place. Next things on the list still are multicam cuts for an additional channel and the subtitles with a bit of AI help.
