Refining Dirty Beeswax

I save all the dirty beeswax from inspecting my bee hives and when I get enough I refine it into pure beeswax. Here's a quick video of the process. If I'm refining a lot I'll do the same process but use a pillowcase.

I did that too but between all the stages of heating and tbh mostly the smell in the kitchen in the initial stage, this year I'm looking into making a solar wax extractor like my friend has. He replaced the door of a mini fridge with glass, I'm thinking to line a clear plastic box with insulation. Then I'll hang the wax in an old tshirt and let it drip into a tin. Hopefully it'll be less work for me, even if it does take longer!
