it's amazing what the pull of a magnet will do to the vibration of the string if it's too close! good stuff Cesar!

Actually the best thing to do is LOWER all pickuips to pickguard level the set intonation then adjust pickup hight

Very interesting information Cesar, amazing what a magnet can do. A great concept for all strat players out there. But doesn't this effect other guitars to some degree? Maybe not as noticable.
Another item, what about raising the pickup slugs where adjustable instead of the pickup itself? Regarding correct pickup height. Wasn't that a trick used back in the 70's? (predominantly on humbuckers)
Anyway, another great video my friend, looks like the injury is healing or has healed nicely. Glad to see.
    Thanks again,
    Duncan

Hey Duncan! I think is more evident in the three pickup guitars, strat - like...Regarding the slugs / screws you can manipulate them to increase / decrease the distance between string and pickup- though that is not my preferred method...In fact, in the " vintage - like " pickups the poles have different heights , like in my Fat 50's ( the ones in the video... ) Cheers my friend!

Hi César! Great video today. It happened to me several years ago with a strat type guitar... I had to lower the pickups in order to intonate. Otherwise is impossible to get it in tune... Un abrazo!

Thanks Antonio! Yes, back in Spain we were calling this " Stratitis " - on top of the difficulty in intonating, you can hear some overtones / rattling when fretting the note at the 12th fret...Thanks for checking!
