I have this same trimmer. I find that sliding the blade up Toward the edge at the top will cut the layers accurately all at once. They don't tend to slide that way. Also, I like to glue the pieces to a copy paper weight, or thin cardstock the same size as the originals, so I can emboss them, then I attach them to the card bases. Embossing helps to hide any irregularities, and gives it a subtle finished look behind embellishments. Love All of these cards, and the bonus!!
I love this technique so much... Makes the card making go so fast and look so great... I did some of my Christmas cards with this technique.... Great cards !!!!!
What a great idea!!! Love to make same cards but different designs so this is a perfect way to do this and not waste paper…your cards are all beautiful…thanks ♥️💚♥️
I have this paper! I really like it, and I like your cards with the shuffle and cut. First time I've seen this technique, and I will be sure to give it a try. Thank you for doing this for us.
Thank you. As a fairly new card maker with a lot of pretty paper I am going to try this for my Christmas cards. My Christmas paper is all 6×6. Will it work for this technique? Thank you.
Thank you for watching! Yes, you can use your 6x6 paper! You will have to cut each piece at 4” x 5 1/4” before you stack and cut them. You can use those extra scrap pieces to make extra cards! Let me know if you have any other questions! Have fun!😊
Do you mean the original panel size? If so, it’s 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. The first cut after that is at 2 1/2”. I hope this helps! Please reach out if you need more info!
Thank you. I love the cut and shuffle technique and the variety of your focal points and greetings! Nice use of the scraps as well.
Thanks so much!!😊

I usually hate the white around ephemera and die cuts, but your cards look amazing. They are so pretty. The Poinsettias are gorgeous. Thank you Xx
