It means it create one secure session to transfer the data and data will be pass through that secure session only.... So TCP provides security and UDP does not provide any kind of security... This session is totally logical.
As per the port number (total 65535)... We can create total 65535 number of sockets. Thank you so much..... Please share with others.... Please subscribe my channel... Please follow my blog: chiragbhalodia.com
Socket Address = IP Address + Port Number. At receiver side, Socket first pass through the network layer. at that time IP address is verify. And then pass to the transposrt layer, because at transposrt layer it identifies the port number which associated with TCP or UDP. It means socket is executed at transport layer..... @@ChiragBhalodia exactly but ly question is socket tcp sent a SYN and waits for a ACK is this SYN is sent by network layer and how socket get ip and its start in transport layer wich contains just port. Is socket exist already before request if yes where its located
In TCP, Socket has been created when process is initiated..... TCP is connection oriented protocol... Once connection established (based on conenction IP is assigned) and then throughout process of TCP...... IP is same because there is logical conenction between client and server.... So, SYN and ACk automatically sent and recv (because IP address fix due to connection)...... I hope your answer is clear....

Is the socket is sent in transport layer or it goes down to network layer to be send by ethernet or wifi?
