Veronica, when resin doesn’t adhere to the sides of a canvas it may be due to the oils in your skin. If you touch your art with bare hands before resining then you have left your skins oils behind. To keep this from happening in the future, always wipe down your dried art with 99% alcohol before applying resin and make sure you don’t touch your canvas with bare hands during and after this process. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the good tip Melissa. It is very helpful. In my case I think it was due to the oil in my mixture and that happens to me quite often, but I believe that touching it with your skin can also do that.
@@MiiPaintings the alcohol will alcohol remove the oil used in your paints.
You have to remove the silicone oil to use resin on it. There are videos on how to do it. Personally, I just avoid it.
I don’t use oils anymore either but the oils from my skin were causing an issue so I always wipe down my art with alcohol before I seal it no matter what I’m sealing it with.

Beautiful again! So I finally got my gold lukas cryl studio bottle but I'm not sure how to get into it. It has a lil bubble top and wondering if I should cut it with a knife or scissors? Seems ridiculous right lol
You can just cut the top with knife. I know it’s weird. Wish they made different lid

I use home made pouring and sheet is just some part from wrapping, which I was ment to chuck away, but I left it for swiping :-)

Bonjour, votre travail est sublime, bravo ! J'ai juste une observation que j'aimerai partager avec vous. On observe sur votre toile un renflement qui provient de la déformation de la toile sur la partie médiane gauche, avec un tel travail n'est ce pas dommage d'utiliser une toile de basse qualité ? Comment faire pour qu'avec toute la matière ajouté sur la toile, celle ci ne se déforme pas ? Peut on travailler plutot sur un plan rigide, type bois ou plexi ? Merci pour votre réponse avisée et bonne journée 🙂
Thank you. And you can prevent that by pouring resin on the other side of the canvas. Or painting on the wood panel. I haven’t tried painting on plexiglass, so I am not sure how that works.

How do you know when you're a good artist passionate about creating? When you have almost as much paint or material on your hands as your canvas or what ever your creating.
You know it when you have old piece of paper and pen and you draw something what you love. You don’t have to own (have) any materials to know you are a good artist
I know. I just meant I noticed that you get it on your hands and clothes just like me. It's not necessarily what you have but how you put yourself and love into it.❤❤
