What's your dream fishing trip?? 🤔🎣 What would you target??
Tuna Fishing!
Fishing with first state
Mahi-mahi
@@islandjewel7261that’d be sick!!
@@FishOn101what kind of tuna?
We live in the Everglades and have learned, that in the summer, your best bet is to fish the shaded areas. The tannins from the mangroves stain the water so you can’t see in…but the big boys sit in the shade
Hey Mike how are you? You been kinda MIA the last few weeks. Your seasoning was featured on Fisherman's Life you-tube channel catch and cook this past weekend, he really enjoyed your seasoning. Matts gave a shout to you, I thought that was pretty cool. Anyways stay safe out there and have a blessed day. Aloha from Kansas
Thats so awesome!
THIS is the Florida fishing I’ve been waiting on our boy to get into!
Florida on top
It’s different for sure 🔥
29:39 yes the Gator dissappeared
You pointed him out and he's like "hey no paparazzi! "
Omg such good memories from those spots i use to spent a lot of time there before ive become a father , havent been back in a while though 2.5 years and counting but soon ill be back with my new fishing buddies 😀😀, great video 👌🏾
Yes in deed good memories out in the everglade it been 4years scene I been there good fishing
April is the best time to hit. The canals
What do u normally catch then?
@@FirstStateFishing that’s when the water level is the lowest and the fish are more condensed in the canal. If you go to the sawgrass recreation area on US 27 you can rent a John boat to explore the canals
Alligators are not dinosaurs, but birds are.
The sarcosucus was a prehistoric alligator
And was classed as a dinosaur
Yooo, I'm from (and still live in) Wilmington, DE. At least 1x a year I go down to Westin, FL and fish Alligator Alley all day. I went around this time last year and caught nothing, seen massive gators tho, a local told me it was too hot and the fish moved to deeper waters. I went on Easter break in 2023 and the fish were so active that it looked like the water was boiling. I caught fish on every style lure. Bowfin, catfish, peacock, gar, myans, and bluegill. Seen multiple gators too, I'm going down in November this year.
Yes! More Everglades vids!
How about you talk about how precious this resource is that you come to visit.
Yo, Mike. Dude from Fisherman’s Life gave you a shout out! He was using your Static Seasoning for a catch and cook on his channel.
Tight lines,
~ Manny ~ 🤙🏼
Last Christmas we went to Key West and stopped by that second rest area and saw some massive tilapia.
You gotta love big fish on light tackle....Great lookin P Mike !!!!
Was nearly killing for another FirstState video 😅😂 Let's go dude 🔥
22:27 The running lizard looked like a spider to me 😂😂
When you caught that first peacock I jumped like I was fishing 😂💪🏾
Amazing vid keep em coming
Was there yesterday. Got many peacock bass.
Nice vid! Have a nice day! 🔥 ❤
My Everglades guide had me popping a floating prop bait in the morning and using a jerkbait later in the day for peacock.
been waiting for this one!!!!!
These are always my favorite videos from you man. Keep up the good work!
Twin tail grubs, I mostly use them as trailers. Very nice peacock!
Beautiful peacock! Congratulations 🎊
Woahhh this is the earliest ive ever been to a video. Me and my boyfriend are recently getting into fishing and your videos are the reason!! We love your videos so much! My favorite videos are creek fishing vids (i love those sunfish in delaware). Sending you all the love🙏🏻❤️
Yes more everglades fishing please
Awesome video bud great adventure love the Florida videos
Those plecos are the same common pleco sold in pet stores.
They get huge, people get them not realizing how big of a tank they need, then the fish gets too big, then people release them into the wild.
They are SUPER destructive invasives, doing all kinds of damage to the Everglades.
pretty sure its just a matter of time before people have to manually collect them out of the water! plagues
I’d love to see you team up with bearded brad and go out on the boat
9:56 I made the whole ducking motion too 😂
That is sooo strange that Pleco but your lure. I’m pretty sure that was its attention from the looks. I’ve played around with pleco when I see them but they nevvvver bit or were interested. Definitely interesting
*casually releases illegal fish*😂
I've been up n down through alligator alley and never stopped to fished..amd I live in Orlando and lived in ft Myers and naples
Yay! Back to fishing in Florida! Where I wish I could fish but I can't because I live in Indiana.
Sweet man keep up the great work maybe largemouth fishing vid?Just an idea, but would be fun to see
Did one a few vids back! I’ll definitely target largies again soon
@@FirstStateFishing sweet missed it but I’ll check it out!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 20:18 LOL wait, What??? 😂😂😂😂
Congrats on the Peacock dude! That's probably an average size for the Amazon but an amazing one for the Everglades. Great work!
I love your videos whenever you are in NC let’s go surf/pier fishing 😊
You cut that line didn’t ya lol when ya caught the turtle lmao
Florida has returned
Got here first...first state! Well, maybe 2nd!
Ayy haha early is early!
Cool video, great adventure/idea to come up with.. fishing all of the areas. Dude … so sick how you pulled up that Peacock Bass with that spinning rod. Good for you.. As for the yellow squiggly jig… how about calling it lemon drop? Keep doing what you do.
fun stuff man
27 is the place sunset bite is crazy
First state is the goat of fishing content! Keep it up man❤!😄
Thanks for watching!
If you go a little west of the Everglades you’ll find yourself in southwest Florida. Down there, the golf course pond fishing is great. You should definitely try it.
Lindo tucunaré 😊
The grub looks like a Mister Twister twin tail.
That is a beauty!
yeah for peacocks the brighter the lure the faster the retrieve the better the bite. Lots of times when I try to fish it slow they shoot up to it pause then go away. Theyre 100% tuned in to movement of any kind and dont care about the look of the lure. In way south florida they sell basically bright yellow rooster tails youd expect to use for flounder but they work great for peacocks if you just reel and twitch comically fast. They literally look like a piece of plastic trash but as long as you catch their attention with the color and keep it moving the peas will attack it.
Back to Flo rida!
When are you going to do more catch and cook's I like watching them there's some good fish in Florida to eat. Have you ever eat a gar? That would be a great video to watch.
I would definitely have to try a basic bobber. Down here, we let bait slowly float down the spillway to cover alot of water.
The head on that gator aint big enough to be 12' but he is big enough to drag you in the water lol
Nice catch!
Catching/snagging a pleco is kinda crazy. At least for me. Idk if it's common. But when in Puerto Rico, where they are very common as well. It seemed like even if you tried to snag them it was almost impossible.
Nice seeing ya firststate 😄
Thanks for being here!
@@FirstStateFishing hiiiiii
@@FirstStateFishing it is 💯 percent my pleasure
My go to lure for that kind of fishing would be the banjo minnow
Chatter bait or a spinner... An A Rig would be great
Just passed by there today
My dream trip would be South Carolina piers. If you could would you please try folly beach pier.
We need a firststatefishing collab with Fisherman's life! He tried your seasoning in his newest video. That would be an awesome collab
For bass in Florida live shiners or a simple purple plastic worm.
I’m more of a saltwater person but I need to check out these areas more. Also I’m not sure how it is now. But some of these spots have crappie
I would have used a fluke texas rigged weoghtless or a rapala crush city freeloader on a jighead with the mid strolling technique although a grub would be good too what you were using was a twin tail grub
I would like to see you do a Oscar catch and cook
Try a smaller jerk bait and retrieve it really fast. Peacock will hit it hard.
First
🔥🔥🔥
You have the right lure. Work it fast with quick pops. I promise, there's hundreds right where your standing.
I believe in Florida it is illegal to put back the armored catfish
Naww he never put anything like that back in the water 😳🤭
You should go back there and fish with life shiners
22:26 lizard appears bottom left, maybe it’s a sign to use lizard lure
Seguindo vc aí grande abraço 🤗
Love your videos
Appreciate ya!!
If I was fishing in the Everglades like you're doing I've been using rattle traps
Just picked up a ounce after a day of fishing then first state post W DAY
So with the gators also if you're cast netting for live bait, don't do it if you see a gator nearby, not in Everglades but had a 8footer about 100yds from me hear the net hit the water and immediately and pretty quickly swam over right up to the bank by me
Awesome video
What’s first state the neon lure is a double tail grub
If he caught as many fish as the amount of times he says “Dude”, we would actually enjoy watching him catch fish. “DUDE”!
Peacockbass catch and cook !!!!
That first fish looked like Peyton manning. My guy had a 5 head!!
Use live bait like shiners or bluegill, guaranteed hit on peas!
If you are still around I can get you some spots to fish on the Naples/Ft Myers side of the Alley man.
I hate people that talk smack about grippers. They’re great for fish the squirm around and fight you on land. Also good that it prevents me from dropping and injuring the fish. Use the grips!
that pleco you could have left it on the shore and released it 2 days later it would have been fine some species of pleco can mummify and survive for months out of the water.
Man i remember driving up and down gator alley as a kid and just looking for the behemoths.
First! love the content! Hope to see you post on your other channel (first state camper) soon!
Hopefully soon!
Chartreuse twin tail. Great for walleyes here in ohio
So fire
Appreciate ya
State, you driving the 41 route? Throwing some smaller stuff will get you a bunch of Cyclids and Oscars as you said.
Better to fish slower during the hot time of the day
13:16 for the blooper reel lol
Double tail grub I catch smallmouth on um in Virginia
My buddy caught a bull-shark and another guy caught a tarpon in the glades
Lets goooo what a hog!
22:30 little lizard is watching u so cute
👏
Yo bro what’s that rod/reel combo that you are using at the 19:00 mark? I’m looking for a light travel set up and it caught my eye. Thanks
