#94 Testing New Paints

- I'll show you a few tests I did with some newer Kaiser Glass paints. Some of these projects turned out well & others did not. Overall it was a good experience. This video was a LONG time in the making, for several reasons. #1 The original video was over 3 hours long and I had to condense it down to 20 minutes. (No one wanted to watch all that excess). #2 It was filmed in 2020 and I was too preoccupied with other things to edit it. #2 And #3 was that I wasn't happy with the results (I'm not a painter) but I decided to show you anyway because it may be helpful to someone. What do you like to use fused glass paints for? Have you taken any classes?

Yay, so glad you are back. Boy have I missed you! We haven't hung out in my studio recently! Great video. I have UCG, Colors of Earth, EZ Fire, Rouche, Colorline, Glassline and Thompson. But I don't have these. So I must try these. Thanks for a great tutorial. Can't wait for your next one👩🏻🤝👩🏼

Paint dabblers work best for me for stenciling and if I don’t have any I use my finger, works great and easy to clean.
Interesting video Susan. I have some colors from Unique Glass Colors that I think are similar. I have put off testing them for 2 years!

I always read your descriptions. I have taken some classes for using enamels. What medium do you use to mix the enamels? Is it specific for Kaiser Enamels? I heard you mention that the medium came with the paints.

This medium came with the paints. It seems each company uses their own medium & it’s never just water 😁 Thanks for reading the descriptions!
@@SusanMcGarryGlass I'm pretty sure you can use fusemaster--I asked owner of Kaiser.
What medium are you mixing with?
Each paint brand has their own mixing medium
