Solar really looked like an Insane difficulty campaign zerg, that was crazy. No idea how he controlled everything so well. That was just as clean if not cleaner than any Serral game I've seen
Nah, there is still a gap between Solar and Serral especially in ZvT. Solar can play a pretty perfect macro game and take very good frontal fight, but he doesnt scout like Serral does nor he can split and defend against multi prong attack well enough.
Lol, serral would've had runbys ready all the time, would've had overseers fly over gumi's bases reguarly and would not have lost as many vipers just flying randomly over the army. O dano em área dos tanques acerta as próprias unidades terranas e pode ser facilmente evitada se espalhar os lings. O zergs, em jogos profissionais, só perdem quando cometem muitos erros e ficam sem minerais.
Zerg is a 1,5 unit race. Zerglings and banelings win every single game, and u can never split your units that well to deny them being cost effective. (Unless u got 6 hands)
@@grinkyleYou can still do as Terran, but Gumiho obviously doesn't have the proper setup to enter the late-game against a Zerg caliber of Solar (who is more experienced in the late-game situation). If it was Maru, Cure, or Oliveira, those are far more experienced in the turtle terran to fight against Zerg.
Unless you're Maru, it's really disadvantageous to try split-mapping with Zerg in a TvZ. As you can see, the result is Zerg gets ahead on supply, resources, and cost efficiency the entire time if you give them that much breathing room and all they need to do is a-move two armies into your bases over and over. It's just a slow death and tactically silly to turtle against them.
Angering series. Obligatory "zerg OP" terran whine. But it's true that Gumiho has thrown away completely his unique play style, and instead played the milquetoast round-16 terran style that obediently dies to the zerg, once zerg spreads to its half of the map.
Yeah it’s strange gumiho basically played standard tvz when he isn’t the best at it against solar who has on many occasions gone toe to toe with Maru himself in the lategame. Even in that famous game where he got nuked by Maru he was winning the game before he lost everything to the nuke.
Widow mines is always the go to against lings/bane it seems. Forces zerg to respect terran's forces. Tanks are good, but they don't provide the instant deletion threat of a single widow mine.
If you've got marine support for a couple tanks, they /can/ melt banes, but gumiho's tanks never seemed to be supported properly this entire series. He was playing tanks like they were long ranged mines lol.
You need to mix both, mines to zone out the lingbane, and Tank to keep taking the long range shot. I am suprised Gumiho making 3 tanks at a time instead of 2 tanks and 2 Mines as that would work much more effectively imo.
@tigera6 yeah, mines can do the job of keeping things off the tanks. Tanks desperately really need support to do their job right. If you keep a tank safe, they'll lay the beatdown on everything. I could see a 2 tank 1 mine production cycle for the factory, then devote the extra resource by cutting a tank to marine/medivac production. One less tank for a mine is what 100/125 extra in bank? That's basically another medivac or a couple more marines.
I feel like tanks are actually better vs. heavy bane styles but worse vs. many lings. Also you need to prevent them getting surrounded, but then tanks can create unattackable positions for zerg because of their range and attack cooldown.
May i ask what can withstand a zerg in the long game? Before starcraft 1 terran and protoss are superior in the long game. In starcraft 2 when banelings infestor are made they become superior in the long games they should buff the thor and the battlecruiser with marine can jump like rocketers for 3 sec while raining bullets down enemy. This is suppose to be the 2 best players in the world, and all it was Gumiho getting out macro'd. Something that happens all day in Diamond league, not a GSL final.
For years people cried about terran rax all ins, but that was 100x better starcraft 2 to watch than this garbage. Oh wow the zerg is UP 20 workers and equal army with 7 queens at 7 minutes!!! How will these 4 hellions do damage..... they don't.... and the game is OVER!!! GG's! You can also tell how boring it is for Tasteless to cast this. Soulless would be the word I'd use, but I dont blame him. THe game state is soulless.
@@cbuckington2933 Broke the turtle with lings and balings. Didnt even need vipers, or ravergers, or anything. Brilliant design.
*Im going to stop you right there before you reply "he did have vipers"
Yea solor had vipers, after the 3rd attack, that already cleared 5+ tanks, and Gumiho was landing his natural's CC because his CC already got destroyed in the 2nd attack. AKA the game was already over.
@@grinkyle oh yesss :D give all the salt to me xD I just love how whiny terrans are
Zerg is broken and ruined starcraft
let me guess... TERRAN wins again. bleh
Oh look another finals without toss. ZzZzZZzZZZZzzZ
