It definitely does matter. The inside of mine is white which bounces it in a softer manner. The silver is going to put way more light in your highlights. It'll be more punchy and your shadows will be more definite with silver.

Yes, I did have full families (no more than 5) on this set. It was big enough for adults and kiddies alike.
