I love your work John. He is very careful and imaginative. Plus it's generous of you to make your "secrets" available to the public. In this case the preparation has been impeccable and the result very beautiful, with those flowers and the wide angle, as you wanted. Of course the robin is always willing to try our system first. Fantastic video and fantastic photo. Greetings from the north of Spain.
Hi Jan, great to hear from you. This place feels like an early 90's Griffin reunion 😁 at the moment. Firstly Colin leaving me a comment, then John Burroughs and now yourself. 😂I hope you and Frank are well. I still miss the village even though I've been living away from there for so many years. Take care, Rgds John.
Hello stranger! Great to hear from you mate, Hope your keeping well. I was only thinking of you the other day when I was in Hay-on-Wye for the weekend and it brought back memories of the Offas dyke path. Colin and Jan have both left comments, its so good to hear from you all. Let me know next time your in the area, it would be great to catch up with you. All the best. John.
John, I've just stumbled across your camera trap videos, they're great! A question if you please, where did you get the camouflage zipper bags from, the ones you have around the camera box and flashes? Thanks
Hi, they are simply the arms and legs cut off a cheap 2 pce, 3D ghillie suit for the flashes and I use the remaining body section for the camera housing. You can pick these ghillie suits up pretty cheap on Ebay. Hope this helps. 👍
Hi Melani, They normally eat a variety of invertebrates such as worms, slugs, beetles etc They will occasionally eat fallen fruit and even birds eggs if they come across them.
Nice to see you back out trapping!!Cracking shot of the hedgehog John, nice work pal. Looking forward to the next one.👏
Cheers Simon! much appreciated mate. 👍

What do hedgehogs eat naturally?
Hi Melani, They normally eat a variety of invertebrates such as worms, slugs, beetles etc They will occasionally eat fallen fruit and even birds eggs if they come across them.
@@JohnFormstone I'd thought for some reason that they were herbivores. I guess I learned something new. 🙂
