I did this repair today. Thanks for your video. Subscribed. About the only thing I would add to it is that one may want to use some brake cleaner in the pigtail that gets disconnected from the switch/sensor as it was oily. Thanks again!

Trying to do this now but my safety tab is on top and so far I can’t get at an angle to release it. So frustrating.

It is quite a bit easier to get to the sensor if you take the wheel off go through the well.

Would riding with the light on be bad? I have the part I just haven’t found time to fix it and I don’t have a second vehicle either. I keep oil in the car and make sure the oil changed on time.

I own a Jeep Cherokee 2015 with the 2.4L engine. Have owned it since new and was told Eneos 0w20 full synthetic was the oil used when the engine was built. I do my own oil changes and for years was using only the Eneos 0w20. The store I purchased from was out so I went with Pennzoil 0w20 and 3 days after oil change I had low oil pressure code. Changed back to the Eneos 0w20 and the code went away. Didn't come back again until I started using Royal Purple 0w20 and was fine for about a year then the same low oil pressure code came up. Is it possible the exact brand oil the engine was built with has to be used or you get the low oil pressure code?

I can't imagine that being the case. Question; On the engine where you add oil, what kind of oil does it say to use? I have a '15 Trailhawk and it says to use 5w20.

Awesome video, and just in time for my own P0520. You think a no name one on Amazon will be ok or should I get a Dorman?
