Pure Country Music, Suzy Bogguss for me should have won much more country music Awards. She was way better then the other females at her time. Without a doubt the most gifted
Watching in 2020 - saw Suzy do a gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire in London in the mid 1990's with an absolutely cracking band. Sounds just as good live as she does on record, and she still looks stunning at 63 :-)
Suzy is great, but there is still good music by some very talented young musicians coming out of Nashville. Check out Allison and Carson and their original song "Maybe By Next Christmas" Written. arranged, sung, and edited, on line during 2020.
I remember when I heard her first songs and bought the cassette of the first album/CD and I literally wore the cassette out and had to get a second one.
+Connie Martin I saw her a couple of years ago in Clearwater. Such a sweetheart on several levels. Did she have the bassist who invented his Folding Bass backing her? I think of her as an alto version of Rosie Clooney> perfect pitch!!!
One of the best folk/country/Americana/Roots musician of them all. Me and the wife went to McCabes in Santa Monica in October of 2015 to see her perform live. Now my wife doesn't like this kind of music at all; I had to drag her kickin' and screamin' and make all kinds of promises such as going to see the New West Symphony or even Run-DMC or other hip-hop artists. But she ended up loving her, thought she had great stage presence, and had a great voice. It helped that McCabes allowed us to enter early due to her disability and we got to sit in the front row right next to the restroom. She sang all manner of songs and we had a whole lot of fun. But now I have to go see the New West perform Beriloz' Symphony Fantastique. I had the record when I was a kid so I'm looking forward to it.
I’m from 🇬🇧. I found CMT on sky and fell in love with country and especially Suzy. It must have been 1991 and I was still at school and bought all her CDs. I’m still in with her and hope to one day see her in person
Hello suzy catching up on your videos today I do this every month.i always watch the ones with Larry since he's my brother.thru this vivid I started writing songs to stay busy and Larry puts the music to them we have had fun seeing what we could come up with. Susie is a Beautiful 🤩 Lady and a SuperStar, I love Her Music She is 🥵 Hot and a great Artist in the Country Music Susie Is Surely A SuperStar.👍 ⭐️💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Last week, Suzy held a concert here in our private community. My wife and I enjoyed her performance more than we thought we would. Between songs she would keep the audience entertained with her various little stories. She mentioned there are two reasons she has returned to the concert tours. First reason is the fact that she truly loves performing. Second reason is that she has a son in college. That got a big laugh from the audience.
Suzy cinderella reminds me when Larry had a band in highschool called Larry Knight and the trebles.once every month they would reserve the community center in our area and the band would play and have a dance it was fifty cents each to get in this was about 1966 1967. The school kids would to there and some parents came too all the kids came to dance no kids smoked no alcohol no drugs you didn't hear anyone use God's name with a cuss words or the F word.kids were not allowed to go outside by them selves so no one got into trouble I was 14 my bro was 16. We danced till 10pm then the kids went back home had a great time got exercise dancing had good clean fellowship with each other no fighting no guns. Things sure have changed .
Is it just me or does the narrator in the beginning of the video sound like Levon Helm (drummer/singer of The Band)? Do you know if it's him? Video looks to be from 1994 or 1995 and Levon was quite involved in country music at that time (among other things he did backing vocals on Martina Mcbride's song "Cry On The Shoulder Of The Road", always loved his vocals on that song). Anyway, Suzy looks and sound beautiful as usual (I especially like "Night Rider's Lament").
I wonder just what these little tight butted girls that call themselves country singers think when they hear someone like Suzy Bogguss sing?? I guess they just go to the bathroom and throw up!! This lady is great!!
Suzy and Jerry Jeff Walker have paid their respects to each other publicly over this song. She didn't learn it from him or from the writer. She learned it when she was paying her dues riding around in a pickup truck with a camper out West before she was able earn enough to sleep in a motel room. That was the point of the story, not who she thsnks does the song the best.
Beautiful soul and voice and lady
What a talent. History will record her and that pure voice, as one of the "Queens of Country Music". Wow!!
I love Suzy, she is so talented. I agree with Arthur about today's Nashville singers,,,
I just can’t get enough of her beautiful voice.
This is so beautiful that there is nothing new that can compare to it ! I have to listen to her sing Night riders Lament at least 2 - 3 times a week
Pure Country Music, Suzy Bogguss for me should have won much more country music Awards. She was way better then the other females at her time. Without a doubt the most gifted
I agree with you about that with all of my heart.
Talk about "Stand and Deliver"......she ABSOLUTELY RULES!!!
What a beautiful voice, I loved her music in the 90's & now love it in 2018, don't stop Suzy, you are gifted.

The hottest female country singer ever and one of the best voices....miles ahead of Shania Twain LOL!
Her voice is pure gold. The stuff coming out of Nashville these days can't hold a candle to this.
Really talented lady

I guess Im kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good place to watch newly released movies online ?
@Judah Otto i would suggest Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
I remember when I heard her first songs and bought the cassette of the first album/CD and I literally wore the cassette out and had to get a second one.
The most underrated female singer in history in my opinion
So talented…. The voice is clear and beautiful as a ringing bell.
I love Suzy ! Brings back some great memories of riding the California trails back in the 90’s. Anybody else watching this in 2019 ?
Paul Rich 2020
Suzy is the best female country singer for certain.

Lord what a beautiful woman and the talent is off the charts~!!!
Suzy has such a beautiful voice. I saw her live in Mt. Dora, FL in February. It was a fantastic 3 piece acoustic show.
+Connie Martin I saw her a couple of years ago in Clearwater. Such a sweetheart on several levels. Did she have the bassist who invented his Folding Bass backing her? I think of her as an alto version of Rosie Clooney> perfect pitch!!!
I saw her at that same show and got to have a little chat too. She makes singing look so easy, but what a voice!!!

Nice find! That's go to be a few years back, but good stuff. from a real American troubadour. Still bringing it.
Love the Night Rider's Lament, especially the yodeling just past the 7:00 and 9:00 minute marks.
A great, if under appreciated talent.
Fantastic....night Riders lament yess
A remarkable voice.
Man, that yodel!
The cutest nose in the history of noses💕
i know right
During her live show in Clearwater, FL recently she talked derisively, calling it a deformed woodpecker appearance.
@@shurshot2764 She is just SO wrong about that feature.
Yep and I've always loved those expressive brown eyes too!🥰 😍

BEAUTIFUL---YOU KNOW SHE IS 100% SUZY!
She's from Aledo, Illinois. Our county seat. She went high school with my ex husband. Margo Price is from, Aledo also. I used to party with her dad.
She sound so fucking fresh.. best female country singer ever
This is from a syndicated television series that was called "The Road".
Is it just me or does the narrator in the beginning of the video sound like Levon Helm (drummer/singer of The Band)? Do you know if it's him? Yes, that's because it is Levon Helm. He and Mary Chapin Carpenter were both narrators for the show.
HandyManDM mkmmmk
SHE NEEDS THAT ONE SONG THAT WILL LAST FOREVER..SHE DESERVES THAT PERFECT SONG....C'MON JESUS PUT IT IN HER HEAD.....AMEN..
She already has it...Aces.

Found Suzy in the early 90’s and she has influenced my own singing and music. She is a pure sound in a sea of autotune and gimmickry.
she is just HOT
That looks like a huge venue! Where would that have been in Rockford?
Please Turn Around let That north Wind BLOW U S
not a country fan at all but this Lady is awesome in looks and voice

What a gal! what a voice! but looks like a Japanese schoolgirl here lol
Miss ya honey

i think she just talking about her life on the road. No one can beat Ian Tyson or Jerry Jeff Walker.
Suzy and Jerry Jeff Walker have paid their respects to each other publicly over this song. She didn't learn it from him or from the writer. Ian tyson
A woman in her late 40s dressed as a collegial, singing pop songs disguised as country... but she was stunning, no doubt
Mi novia segunda te quiero mucho .
