Nice day of detecting. After a day like that, the tired feels good. You know you accomplished something and you feel like a million bucks even though you're tired.
Awesome video, man you guys got that silver train rolling on this one. Love a spot that gives you everything. I wouldn't be surprised of there's some old gold sitting there somewhere. Thanks for providing some good content. Helps keep my mind off the passing of my dad
Thanks man, appreciate the kind words. We'll probably go back for more mid tones, the heat was just brutal so we cherry picked a bit! Hope things get easier for you.
@@digthatbeep things will be good, I just need to find a place to use my AT Max. People here in northeast georgia dont really care to let metal detecting done on their property.
wow what a fun albeit hot hunt. i really like that squashed penny from Chicago. i collect them and have dug maybe 6 over the years and have found a few dozen in coinstar reject trays. fun fun fun. rhanks for bringing me along.
Great hunt guys, who would have thought that public spot would have had all that! We are new to the hobby and enjoy watching and learning from you. Good luck on the next hunt!
Another great hunt! What an amazing day you guys had! Really appreciate all the hard work you do getting a video up for all of us to watch. I need to find a silver spoon. I've found tons of them but still looking for that silver one. Thanks again and stay cool!!
Thanks John, we appreciate you guys watching so it makes it worth it. You sound like me with my thimble in regards to your silver spoon, I've dug lots of thimbles but never a silver one. Maybe we both get out silver ones soon.
When I was a kid, the American legion put on a huge 4th of July picnic every year. Food, booze, games, and prizes for every kid. One of the games was a pile of sand filled with coins. All of us kids got to keep what we found. This was 60s through the 70s. I suspect there was some kind of town picnic where you were hunting.
So good to see another video from you guys. Well done on the silver John and Mike. Imagine how many more you would have found with a Bounty Hunter. LOL Stay safe and hydrated please guys. How is your wife doing these days John? Hope she is back on the mend and back to normal.
I believe the mystery object is a fitting that goes over a square nut to keep it from backing off or loosening. Probably from an early 1900's lawn implement or small tractor.
Awesome hunt, congratulations on all the silver and other cool finds! Looks like the heat was kicking your butts though! Don't feel bad, I just don't even go when it's that hot anymore, the heat sucks the life out of me..lol. Well done guys, GL and HH!
Now that's a day that will be hard too beat. You both did well. That ornate piece of silver may be a terminal off a spoon or fork perhaps? Pleased to see your staying well and being careful.
The first find appears to be part of the adjustment assembly on a cast iron coffee grinder. Looks just like the one on my grandmother's old coffee grinder.
What a great variety of stuff! AND silver to boot! Would love to have a day like that! Couple good showers today means easier digging tomorrow. I’m out there. Congrats guys!
