    I only recently (about a week ago) decided to try out the Pycnogenol and I’m so mad that I didn’t try it out earlier! It has already become a favorite! It’s so hydrating and my skin is glowing whenever I use this. I also tried to wear it underneath the Estée Lauder double wear foundation (which often makes my skin look dry and dull) and it took care of that problem quite well.
    I have been using it mainly in the AM in combination with the Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin. I’m not sure why this is happening but ever since I started to use the Pycnogenol, my mineral foundation stopped pilling. I’ve already put in an order of a couple of more bottles of the Pycnogenol because I’m so impressed with it. Highly recommend it!

My cousin got all of them in a package with sephora n it said to use the buffet in am n pm and the rest can go together. She used them all for two days and it made her skin really red. She said it didnt hurt but now its super dry as if she was sunburned so for day 3 she didnt put it on she just put clarity lotion which is a moisterizer

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  2 роки тому +1

      lol!! Niacinamide is great for acne and so is the salicylic acid products. Retinol or Retinoid can also help treat acne as well!

  • @reggie2685
    @reggie2685 3 роки тому +1

    Quick comment/question:
    Regarding texture, have you noticed an almost gritty feel when you spread it over your skin? I've used it for a few months and it's almost like feeling dead skin roll off as I apply it to my face. This happens no matter if I double cleanse, single cleanse, use physical exfoliant or don't exfoliate. I just haven't found any reviews mentioning it.
    I've even spot tested on my thigh (different type of skin I know) to see if it was having an odd sort of gelling effect with my niacinamide and HA water based serums. No dice. And I don't wear foundation so that cancels out residual makeup being the culprit

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  3 роки тому +2

      Hmm that is interesting... I haven't experienced this.. It really depends on what you are using with it as sometimes niacinamide and/or hyaluronic acid can make skincare products pill and ball off the skin (which is what you are experiencing) If you are using too many products in one routine this can also happen as well or it could be the moisturizer or spf you are using also.. It honestly is trial and error and sometimes it's hard to pin point!
      Try mixing it into your moisturizer (a few drops). I do this and never seem to have any issues🙈🤷🏼‍♀️

    Hi there, I’ve been wondering for a while now if I could use the Pycnogenol right after using AHA such as the lactic acid. I used to use the Pycnogenol with the ascorbic and arbutin and I would get a severe reaction. What are your thoughts on these?

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  4 роки тому +2

      You can definitely use Pycnogenol after the peeling solution or any acid for that matter and you can also pair it with vitamin c as well. The only product that you shouldn't combine Pycnogenol with is the Buffet + Copper Peptides. Everyone's skin reacts differently to products so maybe you can't use it with vitamin c but you can use it with acids.

    When they say Pycnogenol recycles Vitamin C, i think they mean Pycnogenol can help stabilize Vitamin C and recycle it **ON THE SKIN.**

    Which specific cosmetic procedures have you done? Can you do a review on which fillers work the best any how frequently you have to do them. I think it looks good so am curious about the cost and maintenance. Plus there are so many filler brands and lines within each brand out there.
    We all know topical products can only do so much.
    So it would be much more accurate and transparent when you review a product, and also disclose all the other work put into your face. Thanks!

    I tried the ordinary’s pycnogenol and it caused a small reaction of splotchy, itchy red patches on my skin. I don’t want to stop trying to make this product work because I love the benefit of improved skin elasticity and hydration, but I also don’t want to keep irritating my skin. It’s possible that I used too much, after hearing you mention that you only need a couple of drops, but it’s also possible that my skin just doesn’t like this product? Is there something I should be trying to do, before I return this product?
