Yes, the art of patience, such an important aspect with middle eastern fragrances and in life in general as well. Something I'm still learning haha. Thank you for watching dear and thank you for sharing your feedback on Bayn al Asrar, I'm glad to hear it ended up being something you love 🤗🌹
You are so right, I love unique creations like this, so well done and beautiful. I do care about presentation and this is top notch again. Keywords that come to my mind are creamy, cool, hazelnutty.. another reviewer said 'coconut yoghurt' without smelling of either and I so agree. Oh yes I can imagine this with Eclaire so well! So far I've worn it alongside Nasheet for days, one on each arm. Maybe a tad far on the exotic spectrum but I love it.
Thank you for watching my dear and thank you for sharing your thoughts on Bayn al Asrar, I'm happy to hear you love it! 🤗🌹 It is indeed such a unique creation, I've never tried anything like it and it took me a while to understand this fragrance. If you try the layering combo with Eclaire let me know how you feel about it, I hope you'll enjoy it! 🥳
I have Bayn Al Asrar and love it. I'm glad I dodged the "sour milk phase".🤢😂 I spray fragrance like my Arab friends (lol) so it lasts HOURS on me and is a lovely, soft pear, spicy, vanilla, slightly sweet scent. Thanks for another comprehensive review, Loredana!
You're very brave for overspraying it haha! The longevity on my skin is very good as well surprisingly, the scent is pretty oily. I'm very happy to hear you love Bayn al Asrar, thank you for watching my dear and thank you for the feedback. 🤗🌹
I have both, Bayn is lighter, fruitier, and like a summer flanker of Guidance. It's probably good for people who struggle with the thicker, nuttier scent of Guidance. Both seem to be quite polarising.
I love a good nutty accord, I really want to test Guidance now, I'm curious how the richer nutty accord plays into the scent profile. Thank you for watching my dear and thank you for the feedback, it was very helpful to imagine the differences between the two. 🤗🌹
I like this fragrance a lot! It's different from anything else I have (I do not own Guidance.) I received it in the summer, and I really enjoyed layering it with Paris Corner Pear Potion for warm weather. I'm going to try it with Eclaire now that it's cooler! I also love your long videos ❤
The layering idea with Pear Potion is absolutely amazing!! I will try it myself as well, I'm sure that would bring forward the pear accord in such a beautiful way, I still have some left from my decant. Thank you for watching my dear, I'm happy to hear you resonate with my videos!!🤗🤗🌹
Thank you for the layering combinations.I own this fragrance, also I own Guidance, and I dont feel this to be a dupe, there is a similarity, but not that much of one ( at least to me).I had to take my time with Guidance, and much uncertainty before I made the purchase, so its interesting that you mention having the same sort of experience with Bayn Al Asrar, I can absolutely see why. I feel it could be an all year round fragrance, that will feel more cosy with the added vanilla combinations for cooler weather, or even with them for warmer weather, just to give the fragrance something more. I never thought of Nebras with this, but I will now !

@@AFragrantGlance I feel that Guidance has so much more depth and intricacy to it. I also purchased Guidance 46, so that gives an idea of how much respect I have for Guidance. . Bayn is such a watered down attempt which isnt as sweet as Guidance. We know the middle easterns are not shy with the strength of their fragances, so I feel that they just couldnt duplicate anything anywhere near the original. Its a pleasant fragrance, but no layers to it, or maybe less layers, and also way less intensity. I find Guidance so hard to explain. I feel its a love or hate aswell. I had many samples before I was sure. Its not a safe blind buy. I think Bayn may give a slight hint at what may lie ahead before someonethey Guidance. Even then, I feel it would be a shock. I dont feel you would enjoy Guidance. but maybe Guidance 46 would be something you would enjoy. They are very similar but Guidance 46 has an extra lift to it, subtle difference to Guidance. You dont need both. But they are ever so slightly different enough, to justify owning both
I love this fragrance so I ordered a mini bottle of Guidance to see the difference. G is definitely heavier, more creamy and nutty. I love them both, so I’m going to experiment with layering Bayn to try to get it closer. So far I’ve paired it with Shaghaf Oud Tonka. Not exactly like G but it does thicken & nutty it up a little 😅

Hello Loredana, It seems that we bought Bayn Al Asrar simultaneously at Dubai Collection 😊 Sadly, although I had high hopes about the fragrance, I realise now that I didn't have the patience to give it a third chance. I tried it a first time, tried it a second time, and then decided it hat to go give it away. I was quite disappointed because as far as I know, Amouage Guidance was designed by Quentin Bisch who also created Teriaq by Lattafa, so I was quite confident that a Guidance dupe would be quite up my alley. Unfortunately, this isn't made for me. I got something plasticky from the fragrance I couldn't stand 😢 However, I am not too sad about it, because there are so many amazing perfumes out there, and honestly, I don't want to bother myself too much trying to "adopt" a fragrance by trying too hard to make it work for me if it doesn't suit me, especially if there are so many more fragrances that were a "love at first sniff" for me (like Teriaq, Opulent Red, al Faris, Club de nuit intense, Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst and so on) ❤ Last but not least, thank you very much for your detailed reviews, you made me discover quite a lot of beautiful perfumes 😊
Thank you for watching my dear, I'm sorry to hear it didn't work for you but I appreciate your feedback on Bayn al Asrar! 🤗🌹 Teriaq, wow, what a beautiful fragrance, by far one of my favourite recent discoveries in terms of fragrances. With Al Faris I've struggled a bit but after it got to sit for a while it evolved into such a beautiful, dark, bewitching jasmine scent. With middle eastern fragrances it's very interesting and tricky sometimes - some smell flat and get richer with time, some smell slightly off and get right with time, some smell unbalanced or not in harmony and get smoother with time and yet some never change, I'm not sure why this is happening with some of them but it's something I've noticed throughout the years, and then there are some that were instant loves and smelled amazing from the get go. What a journey haha. I'm happy to hear you've discovered fragrances you love through my videos, this means so much to me!! 🤗🤗
Thank you so much for your Feedback ❤️ I got the chance to test Stellar Amber by ZARA recently which also happens to be a dupe for Amouage Guidance, and although I can't pretend that I was shook by or fell in love with it, it seems much more "palatable" and rounder to me than Bayn Al Asrar... The Amber Collection in general is very interesting, it might be something that you would enjoy quite a lot; they have a discovery set with all 4 fragrances at a reasonable price 😉
I have it and it was a love at first sniff. Only problem it doesnt last very long. I hope after some time it will get more potent. For me its somehow easy reach. I could shower in it 😅
Hi Loredana :-) I have a decant. I've tried it twice, and I don't like it. I love artistic, "different" perfumes, but there is something that simply doesn't smell good on me. But thanks for the advice. I will revisit it for sure.
Hi Lucia, thank you for watching dear, I appreciate your feedback on Bayn al Asrar. 🤗🌹 Let me know if it improves, in some cases the perfume changes for the better, in some cases even if it changes it's still not something you enjoy but it's good you started with a sample. Wishing you a beautiful weekend 🤗
Thank you for watching dear! 🤗🌹 Yes, I've tried many beautiful jasmine forward scent throughout the years, what type of jasmine would you like to test? If you are looking for a bewitching mysterious jasmine - some that surprised me - Alien Musk Mysterieux by Mugler (this is a spicy warm dessert like jasmine with quite an animalic musk), Orchid Prairie by Rasasi (to me this is Alien done in the Middle East, has a pretty similar Alien like jasmine but with an added oud accord, very unusual and edgy), Opulent Red by Lattafa & Al Faris by My Perfumes (these are love or hate type of scents but both are made around a heavy jasmine accord with some green accents, powdery facets and a woody accord, very complex). If you love fragrances like Jasmine Noir by Bvlgari (the old formula) - I'm testing a fragrance called Tulipe Noir by Atkinson's - it has the same dark, mysterious, enchanting energy, a showstopper. Some 'happier' jasmine forward scents I've tried - Bani by Ahmed al Maghribi (a solar jasmine with coconut flakes and musk), Araak by Ahmed al Maghribi, Forbidden Sugar by Paris Corner, Floral Blend by Parfumane ( jasmine and whipped cream). These were the first ones that came to my mind, look them up and see if any of them catches your eye. ✨
