I was stationed in the Netherlands with the Air Force for 3 years back in the 80's. Loved the beautiful country and people. Thank you for a bit of memory lane. The Brewery tour is a blast.

What a fabulous trip! And you two just have so much life and energy! Do you have any idea how much fate plays a role in so much that happens to you? (Example - you happened to be having dinner near the bar Mike's family members told him to be sure to go to, and even walked right past it...) It's very interesting to watch, I've seen it in many of your videos. You two were truly destined to be together and to live the amazing life you have!

Amsterdam was our last city to visit during a tour of Europe in 1966. We went to the Anne Frank Museum and it left a strong impression. We also went to the Heineken Brewery, and I got wasted and got lost trying to find my way back to our motel. The problem was that all of the bridges look the same. I am glad you had a good time, and it is great to see you both again!

Btw, the large mirror needs a good clean without glass cleaner! Just nice hot soapy water, and then a polish with newspaper and a vinegar solution for a nice sparkle.

Oh my. I miss Amsterdam. It has been a long time since I lived there for like almost a year. I remember staying over at my friend's house boat along the canals just across Heineken Brewery. That small area (Museumplein = Museum Square) is really magical for me because of the museums and the scenery around.
The notes were so cute but g-pa it was like you missed your boys too! G-pa wrote ik mis je vaders (that would had been in his point of view, i miss your fathers), Beau would had said ik miss mijn (my) vaders hihi. Next time visite the heague when you get the chance :D

I got to spend the better part of a day in Amsterdam 47 years ago (yikes!), and we took a canal ride, too, as well as visiting the Rijksmuseum. It was a beautiful city in 1974, and clearly it still is. It looks like you had an amazing time!
