Thank you for the work you’ve done in highlighting the genuinely good things about the Desi community in Richmond, Virginia! People seeing this, if you are from India or think he’s just another American, you need to PROTECT this man! This is true anti racism in a southern state: community involvement and appreciation, making sure it is accessible to people who may be curious. ❤ thanks for your work man!

Wish more non-indians visit and experience Indian culture. It would help diminish the negative stereotypes of India.

Yo mate, I'm actually British Indian from Manchester city, the man who said biryani is from southern part of India he was totally lying to you😂 the Biryani from southern part except Hyderabadi biryani is all cap, because the biryani is originated from (lucknow, delhi),

There’s so much claim to fame on Indian dishes in general. As I’d understood it, wasn’t biryani was a product of Mughal occupation, and isn’t Hyderabad geographically speaking still in southern India/state of AP? I don’t know enough hyderabadi folks to ask them on that one, nor have I explored AP much.

@@coloredCYANIDE to be honest mate, there isn't anything much around in india including AP to see anything in general, In terms of taste hyderbad and Delhi are famous, as per neatness and sky scrapers Mumbai could be one of those, and for sweets and football Calcutta can be the one, and as you know agra has taj mahal... Rest of the india is just piece of sh!*, due to the reckless nontake careness of people for the streets, and yeah biryani was orginited during Mughal empire, and matter of fact a lot of dishes from present day pakistan and india the recipies were invented during that time(those cities are lucknow and Delhi), by the way I hope you have been enjoyed the indian cuisine, and one more thing 😉india is famous for the traditional and cultural dress(sarees) for both men and women especially for women which is famous all around the world, and yeah that's pretty much it, basically in additional you must have to try samosas and lamb biryani for sure, those will be fire as hell 🔥❤️

@@Aman-b5k I still feel like the wildest thing about my home city in this regard is that the best biryani in town is made at a gas station, and it is somehow actually really good, lol but recommendations are noted- esp since breaking vegetarianism and working food safety microbio make you want to try more than you had growing up for sure, just don’t wanna get sick. I guess because I never grew up in India it really would be nice to take time to just explore the subcontinent, so it’s a bit surprising when I hear there’s not much there. When you say that, what interests you in that regard? Like social or public scene, live music, food, drink, culture in general? What is the turn off for being there lately in general?
Thanks for taking time to answer this, if it’s not obvious- I am painfully lacking in peers, to ask some pretty important questions.

@Aman-b5k Talapakattu biryani is from Tamil Nadu, which is south India, he did not claim Biryani is originated from southern part of India. The rice they use is totally different, it’s not Basmati rice. Do not spread false info without fully understanding. FYI.. I am not from Tamil Nadu.

@@jagatkirangurugubelli-d8j bro do you even know the word itself biryani is a urdu Hindi word ? How it can be tamil or something 🤣 don't claim something which isn't from your state, your state is full of dirty places all around in tamil nadu
