    If you look at the 13” screen its loaded with Bluetooth, nfc, Wi-Fi , plus it connect to something called connect. You got the sensors, door bell g4 pro,and the door lock.

    Matter offers a true Mesh network with industry standard compatible "promised" for product introduction in 2022, Wouldn't you rather have Matter support than Bluetooth?

      UniFi wants to sell a proprietary system… I would love to see open adoption but that does not appear to be in their best interest

    There's little to no difference between wall penetration and atmospheric absorbance between Wi-Fi 6 (5Ghz) and Wi-Fi 6E (6Ghz), nor is there a data rate difference as the specification for Wi-Fi did not increase the data rates from Wi-Fi 6 to Wi-Fi 6E. To make the statement that the increase from 5 Ghz to 6 Ghz is similar from 2.4 Ghz to 5 Ghz is very incorrect and simply not true. The biggest difference with 6E is the additional frequency ranges that are unused and do not overlap with any other uses, meaning you can run 160 channels much more effectively in Wi-Fi 6E compared to Wi-Fi 6 we're overlapping channels and other licensed technologies interfere with part of every 160 channel.

    Great video! Appreciate the recommandations! I'm currently using 4 wired Google Wifi pucks (the first generation, not the nest) throughout the house but range on those is kind of poor on 5Ghz. I have a 2 story house + basement (4500 sq ft) and 3 kids that use videos and gaming so I was looking at buying the new Wifi 6 Mesh and put it on the middle floor at the centre of the house to cover 1st and 2nd floor (replacing 2 Google wifi pucks). Would that work or it wouldn't be enough to cover two floors? Thx!

      Really hard to say depends so much on what your walls are made of. What I would do is use unifi’s WiFi planner

    If I already have wifi 5 on main floor and in the basement, will wifi 6 conflict?

    • @SpaceRexWill
      @SpaceRexWill  2 роки тому +1

      It will not conflict any more then if you had 2 WiFi 5 AP’s

  • @DJaquithFL

    6E .. an AP in "EVERY" room of the house??!! I already have 4 APs. Today I have 1 Gbps internet and I'm looking at 2 Gbps .. BUT 5GHz already has crap range.

      For the price difference I would go cat 6 if you are putting it in the walls. If you are just needing a long cable cat5e will get you all the way to 2.5 GbE which is 25x your current speed so should be fine for a while

      @@SpaceRexWill if seeing price difference then i am getting CAT-6 at cost 7.25 dollar and CAT-5E at cost 3.95 dollar.
      So which i should go for?
      And why Flipkart or Amazon is mentioning 5/5E and not both as different .
