I disagree. He only seems distressed and forcing a hate that is not there, besides being abusive. Honestly, I hated Dark Hook. Loved when he was killed. Season 5B was a complete garbage in its quest to rescue him from hell...

Either way, I was just pointing out the irony of him saying this to her, it was really a low blow meant to hurt her, I am just glad Emma saw it for what it was, the darkness talking, the true Killian would never have hurt her like that
Okay can we give kudos to Colin for this scene? He did such an amazing job playing a dark one, I mean I think I speak for just about everyone when I say that we truly hated Hook in this moment for everything he said to Emma especially that orphan line. I have always loved/ hated this scene.
I didn't hate him for that. Because it is technically true. Yeah, it was horrible to say, but she had hurt him. But she also needed to hear it, because it is the truth. She pushed the people she cares about away because she thought they'd get hurt, but they were just getting more hurt in that process and it was hurting her too. It was an absolutely awful thing to say, and I agree that he could've said it nicer, but he was a dark one, he was angry, and it had to be said. It is also said that the people closest to us can hurt us the most, because they know what to say to get under your skin and to upset you, also because it always hurts more if you care about them!

Can we take a moment and appreciate how when he didn't know he was the dark one from 5x01 the darkness would still be there so once he found he was like shit I gotta be a badass. But he was still the dark one before he found out like wtf 🙄💁🏼
