Got super into this band in 2021 with Witness and I've been looking forward to new music from them ever since!
Huge credit to @Paajanenae for being the first to cover the song in like 4 hours, completely insane bassist, his cover helped me figure out a lot of the parts.

Yeah a 7 baritone/extended scale to get that solid sound as low as F. On a standard scale 7 the strings get floppy around the g flat or F sharp tuning
So I just got my 8 string in and am wondering how I would tune it to play these songs. The tuning for a 7 string is listed in the description but these extended range tunings are all new to me. How would I tune each string to play this song? @@headphonesz6527
@@headphonesz6527since it's played on a baritone 7 then an 8 may actually be ideal, right? I just saw a different vid where a guy played it on an 8.
@@headphonesz6527ok so apparently. According to the description, this is pitch shifted down so it may actually be played on a standard 7 here. Not really sure .
Absolutely stunning new track for Danish metallers VOLA, and no they can't figure out, how to make a bad track, and this one is particularly good, what an EPIC chorus that is, these guys are going somewhere with their HUGE atmospheric style and production. In terms of how well did you play this one hands down it was flawless, so I´ll give it 10/10 thank god there were no Kirk solos in there hahahaha....If this is the standard on their upcoming album, we are all in for a special treat, cause this RULEZ BIG TIME!! Great cover, thank you for this. One thing, you mention the tuning is (F# B E A D F# B) but you also mention (Pitch-shifted down 5 semi-tones). Are the strings actually BEAD... and drop tuned with Cortex?

Garageband is pretty limited in terms of what you can do with guitar tones, if you're really good with an EQ you can get decent results though!
