As a black man I've notice everywhere we're at in the world looks like mush or we come in and turn a place into mush. Something is not clicking in us that's making everything around us collapse. It would be nice to see just one city full of Africans that's thriving. Arabs, Asians and Europeans all got their booming city.
We do have booming cities as well, Sandton, CapeTown and areas like umhlanga, Ballito just to mention a few. Those Arabs and European states has also failed cities. It's not only a problem african cities. Investors are turning their money in newly built malls and developing areas away from old cities.
Pretoria was a golden city in 1996 when I came there after Matric. It's run down now especially CBD. Neglect is visible. Why do we black people fail to maintain good things we inherited!
I am a hard worker I sleep less, travel a lot. I took a bus from Durban to Pretoria straight. Reached Pretoria 5:30am . Instead of going to where I am running my project I decided to shoot a video of this lovely city. And later same day I travelled to Johannesburg. I am a workaholic 😀
Pretoria is my home, its a beautiful City to stay and work its a nice place
